A weapon of mystery and dark power...

Cotton continued to make their way through the forest, determined to fulfil their destiny and the quest that had been assigned to them by Minerva. Of course, if one was to survive in this hostile environment, one must prepare and take actions to find food and water, and perhaps shelter.

So Cotton began exploring, seeking to understand the environment and ended up striking gold, figuratively.

A few hours into the exploration Cotton found an abandoned cache leaning by a tree. An ancient rune lay on the ground on a stone tablet, accompanied by a shortbow that had strange lettering carved into its length along with a quiver of 8 arrows. Cotton, upon picking up the bow, realised this thing was extremely cold to the touch and almost felt as if the bow was calling out to them to fulfil its bloodlust. The rune glowed, and with a sudden flash of light suddenly Cotton became more iron willed.

Taking the equipment hastily, Cotton set off stronger and armed to the teeth with a Shortbow of The Vampire...
