A voice calls out

“This is the vessel you selected?” A female voice asks, her mild contempt slices through the silence.

“You wanted a depraved soul, with a natural advantage of countering the heroine, and the compatibility to cram those ‘cheats’ in,” Another female voice, far more sultry retorts with an air of smugness, “If you don’t like it, then you can find your own champion.”

A silence returns as I try to figure out what exactly I have gotten myself into. “Very well,” The first voice concedes before giving a sigh, “Mortal, be proud, for we have hand picked you to be our champion! You will be our hand to counter the treacherous Light, and bring them to heel, in exchange you will be able to indulge your darkest desires, with monstrous powers beyond mere mortals. Will you accept?” Now… I’m no fool. I understand the concept of a ‘deal you can’t refuse.’ And considering I’m either… prevented from drowning at the bottom of the river… or more likely my soul(Going to have to process implication of that later) has been captured by these... creatures(?). I still can't see anything so I really don't know what I'm dealing with... Regardless, I rather not find out what they could do to me should I not be ‘useful’ to them. Opening my mouth, nothing comes out, but a wave of... unnaturalness overcomes me. Instead, I **** myself to nod, which is also more difficult than expected.

“Excel-”

“Really, that’s all it took for your champion? How easily kowtowed. You must be pleased that your champion of domination is such an eager lapdog, Mel.” The other voice pokes and prods, but I’m not sure if it is against me or Mel.

“Do. not. Address. Me… by that name,” A frustrated seething came from ‘Mel’ which furthers my mental debate. “At any rate, my champion, you’ll become a monstrosity without equal...”

“Starting as a weak, little baby monster.”

“Silence you insufferable… Deep breaths… Melachoche, deep breaths,” ‘Mel’ pauses and I hear several breaths from the darkness before, “Anyways, allow me to illustrate the situation to you. The world of Ruyanei has been the battlefield between Light and Dark…”

“Basically it’s a JRPG world and knowing they would lose, as soon as we waged a new offensive, they cheated, isekai'd a heroine, and crammed a bunch of cheats in her and the other heroines. Luckily, we do have some element of foresight, being Gods, and so we know that we have three years before they’ll inevitably decimate our armies, before killing the Demon King, so we decided we weren’t going to wait around and let them cheat their way to victory, instead we're going to cheat right back.”

“Carnachias… Can you… for once in your depraved life, _not _interrupt me?” ‘Mel’ states, just oozing with the frustration carefully cultivated over years… or probably centuries, “But yes, the… issue is that our creations are incredibly powerful and can reproduce far faster than those of Light, something that we can and have increased even further for this war… however, they have… limits, that once reached, is a hard ceiling on their capabilities. You, however, are free of such restrictions. While incapable of containing the full power of our gifts initially, so yes you will be emerge as a fledgling, you will be able to grow far beyond even the mightiest monsters in history… Oh yes… And then… perhaps even those snobby, angels behind their walls of light will... Oh yes...” She trails off as she lets out a chuckle fueled with vengeance and vindictiveness.

“And she thinks I’m the one obsessed with pleasuring myself,” Carnachias giggles, though ‘Mel’ seems off in her own world to react, “Anyways, we’ll allow you to create your own body, so you can truly be unique.” With that a flood of information rushes through my mind, “A thing to remember is that all percentages are additive, so you won’t be getting absolutely insane numbers… Even if we could give you that, your soul would just explode if you tried. Which... Doesn't help either of us.”

I’m overwhelmed by the options but I pause and start dissecting things by group. Okay, first… Type… Why are all these so sexual? Okay, Arcane and Powerful have stat bonuses, so let’s focus on those… And just forget the other two. Like ‘seedbed’, what kinda messed u… No… Forget it! Magic is… Well I have no idea. Magic tends to be powerful, but it can also be kinda useless in some games… or fighters basically have their own ‘magic’ while also not having a reduced health pool so are less reliant on other party members… That and obsession is a double edge sword. Intimidation and dominance is something I know how to use, and I am quite confident in a scrap so physical might seems the most… sensible and safe choice.

Next size… The Xp boost sounds nice… but the Parallel Core ability sounds amazing. One of the greatest weaknesses of a boss monster is the action economy. Simply put a single creature can not take as many actions as a group, and thus can be out-maneuvered due to that. In JRPG terms, it allows for one person to heal constantly while others attack so the boss never gets to actually kill the party. If I can do two separate actions, that can be incredibly powerful while opening up multiple strategies. And if that affects my mind as well, it would mean I can keep track of multiple things at once twice as effectively. The potential there is far far greater than a mere growth bonus.

And now Family… Dragon. Without question. While the abilities of some of the other choices are interesting, this is what I will have to live with… No as. And I would be regretting it every day should I turn down the option to be a dragon… The next section caught me off guard… Okay, I had my suspicions that this is not a... 'normal JRPG’ world, but very, VERY clearly a hentai. Why else would there be a complete entire section dedicated to… sexual ‘add-ons’

“Come now, what’s the point of power if you don’t have fun with it… Besides, even if you don’t use it, why limit yourself,” Carnachias coos.

Oh, great, she can read my mind... or my reaction was that predictable... “I really can’t see the use in having flesh eating cum, or blades on my dick.”

She seems to pout but declares, “Fine, I’ll give you the others then. Also, now that those are decided, I’m putting in your first core, to give you a little time to acclimate to it before the next one.”

What does th-OH GOD! My chest is ripped open, as a cold… yet burning hot orb not quite the size of a soccer ball is **** in. Luckily the ‘pain’ of this is absent, but my flesh contorting to fit, while burning and freezing at the same time, is somehow worse then just pain… And then my entire body begins to twist, bones crack and bend. Reforming into something not human… And the flesh trails behind, twisting, and warping into something… Scales, rather than skin, meat ripping apart and reattaching to the bone. The muscles regain definition underneath the scales, as my organs warp and form into different shapes.

With that I can see in the dark… It’s not gone… but it… doesn’t hinder my sight. The... girl(?) standing before me with a blood soaked hand, a pleased grin, and… her modesty concealed by thin strips of cloth. A powerful arousal fills me, and she places her hand on my… muzzle? I have a muzzle now? My confusion is dispelled as she speaks, “As much as I would love for you to ravage me, you would die in the attempt. Grow stronger and hopefully we can have a little _fun _reunion.” She then leans in close, whispering in my ear, “Don’t keep me waiting too long.”

Before I can process, she spins around, clapping her hands, startling the other one, a much less endowed girl with more of a gothic look going on, perhaps dignified if she wasn’t in the process of being startled. “Wha-Why? Carna-” She begins to angrily retort, but she is cut off by, “His body is complete”

“Wh… Right, yes, of course. This next section is more… _delicate _and requires a more… knowledgeable touch… And less lascivious touch.”

“Remember it’s not **** if a god says it isn’t!”

“Yes… Thank you for that interjection, Carnachias.”

“Anytime.”

‘Mel’ trembles with annoyance as she lets out a long breath, “So, my Chosen. It is time to bestow you with the powers of darkness, only available to those we create personally. Since you are a dragon, two can have two, though you can acquire more through an arduous task.”

Another batch of data, nowhere near as overwhelming. And while she seems quite fond of the ‘final form’ I’m less than sold on it. If everything is additive, the massive boost becomes only slightly more than a doubling of power. And while yes, the secondary form is far more significant, being able to qualify for that will likely take years, years I could work on getting that power in the first place. As it stands, the Timefruit juice is… just… Well broken is the only real way to put it. It specifically says for every action I take, I can take another as if I am taking another turn… and I can already take two separate actions at the same time, or 'turn.' So that would mean with each of my cores, I can take two actions? That is immensely powerful, probably well more than simply more stats multiplier. After all, monsters that get multiple turns are far more dangerous and annoying then a simple statistically more powerful opponent… And it’s a permanent boost rather then a temporary trump card. In addition, if I combine that with the 400% from the dungeon core, when fighting in my home territory, I would already be statistically more powerful than a non-dragon using final form… With backup in the form of minions... I simply will have to be less aggressive with powerful opponents and lure them into my dungeon. Yes that sound like a plan.

She seems… less than excited with my choices, but she doesn’t complain at least. “I may have mentioned it before, but your light-attuned soul has certain advantages. While your monster body will still be able to go through your monster evolutions, your soul means you can combine this with classes, the Light sides version that allows them a fighting chance. Now, while every light sided soul start with one, they have a certain selection of classes that you can acquire in addition, and you can acquire a max of… SIX?!” She quickly recovers most of her composure, but still lets her astonishment shine through in a more… dignified manner “Six classes, this is… I’ve never heard of more then four… I suppose we should count our blessing that you didn’t have the moral character to be summoned by the forces of Light… Still unfortunately you are still limited to starting with a single class, but if you unlock others, and promote them… You could be quite terrifying even without your monster powers. Though unfortunately you are unlikely to be able to get the highest tier.”

Looking over it, while they all sound quite useful, I decide that if I can get them all, let’s save me the trouble of grinding out the most difficult task… Assassin, or Ranger… Assassin is probably more… useful generally, but Rangers are…not clear on how to unlock, and could probably help me unlock Assassin… Yeah, Ranger is probably the choice then… Not that I’m entirely sure what they can do, but I’ll cross that bridge when I get there. Being a dragon should be able to compensate until I unlock others even if it sucks.

“I have great hopes for you. You are quite a unique creature, and should be our most powerful yet… However, that still might not be enough…”

“Light side did cheat hard this time, after all.”

“Indeed… For that I think we should grant one more gift. A cheat to balance the scales… Now these are not things we’ve given before, so we’re not entirely sure of how it will play out, but even if they are a fraction of what they should, they will still be the most powerful weapon in your arsenal.”

I begin looking over them, and I pause on Hybridization. It seems… the most out of place. Carnachias interrupts my thoughts, “I hope you pick this one. Especially since you have two cores, it should be a simple matter.”

“I must admit interest as well. Such a thing would normally be impossible. Even with two cores, they would reject each other if they are not part of the same family… but with your light soul… Perhaps that can act to sequester yet agglutinate them within the same body? At the very least, should you have the exigency, you can purge one of the cores to save your soul… A squandering of a boon to be certain, but you will survive… Yet with success you’d become something truly unique.”

“The ball is in your court,” Carnachias insists, but her eyes are positively glowing with… intention… scheming?

I pause, thinking of this. It seems… less… than the other options. I mean there are some nice bonuses to be sure, but they pale in comparison to experience gaining potential of the other especially since that's the weakness of my dragon nature, or being able to just cheat ****.

“You seem to be thinking of the raw numbers… but remember, as a dragon you don’t just become stronger than the baseline. You gain wings, breath attacks, claws, scales, and so much more. After all powerful monsters are capable of rivaling scores humans with powerful classes, just due to their monster evolutions, and you gain an entirely new tree of options with this, each with their own set of abilities, and features beyond the raw base stat increase... A slower option to power then the others, but one with a far greater ceiling,” Carnachias coaxes.

That’s… right… That changes things dramatically… If that’s the case… I hesitate but eventually nod.

”Excellent. I know exactly what to make to cover for your weaknesses!” Carnachias grins like a predator, and before I can protest, Melanoche places her hand on me, “Just… give up. Whatever depraved thought has possessed my sister will not be supplanted by anything in existence.” She lets out a long sigh, “I recommend an efficient usage of time, and so I will characterize your essential targets.”
