A vial of ruby-red liquid

You open the ornately decorated lid. You frown, thinking the box is empty at first. Upon closer inspection, you see a small glass vial in the corner of the box, with a metal lid. The vial is unremarkable, save for an ankh etched into the glass.

Lifting it up, it feels oddly cold in your hands. You hold it up to the light, the liquid looks thick and opaque.

A wind blows the lid of the box shut, startling you. You look back at the vial in your hand. The liquid seems to move on it's own in the vial.

Inexplicably, you feel your mouth watering. Your heart rate increases, and the hair on the back of your neck stands up.
