A text

James' eyes scanned the screen, his mind racing with what he was seeing. He had expected to see a flurry of text messages from unknown numbers, maybe even some suspicious conversations.

But as he scrolled through Marie's phone, he noticed something odd – there were no text messages besides his own. Not a single one.

He checked her emails next, thinking maybe she had been communicating with someone else through email. But again, nothing out of the ordinary caught his eye.

James felt a pang of disappointment mixed with confusion. What was going on? Had Marie really been hiding something from him?

As he continued to snoop around her phone, James stumbled upon her social media accounts. And that's when things started to get interesting...

Her Instagram feed showed photos and stories about work events and gatherings with colleagues... Nothing too suspicious here.

But then James saw something that made him raise an eyebrow – a private conversation between Marie and Ann about planning a girls' night out for next weekend.

James' mind was racing with thoughts and suspicions as he walked out of the apartment, Marie's phone still clutched in his hand. He couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off, but at the same time, he didn't want to jump to conclusions.

As he approached Marie's workplace, James felt a mix of emotions swirling inside him. Part of him wanted to confront her about what he had seen on her phone, while another part of him just wanted to forget about it and move on.

In the end, James decided to do nothing. He returned Marie's phone to her without saying a word about what he had discovered. Maybe she would notice that something was different when she got home tonight... or maybe not.

Marie looked up from her desk as James handed her back her phone with a casual smile: "Hey babe I found this on our bed earlier. Must have been left there by mistake." He jokes.

Marie took the phone without question and slipped it into her bag: "Thanks for bringing it over babe, you’re a life saver. I was in a rush this morning."

James watched as she went back to work, feeling like there were so many unspoken words between them now.

James walked into the apartment, feeling a sense of unease still lingering inside him. He couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off, and his mind kept wandering back to what he had seen on Marie's phone.

As he dropped onto the couch, James' eyes drifted towards his phone, where Eye Spy was still open on the screen. On a whim, he decided to check it out again – maybe there were some new messages or updates that would give him more answers.

He scrolled through her social media accounts once more. But this time, something caught his eye that made his heart skip a beat.

A new post from Ann's Instagram account had popped up while James wasn't looking! And it was addressed directly to Marie.

The caption read: "Can't wait for our girls' night out next weekend!"

James' eyes scanned the screen, his heart racing with anticipation. He had been suspecting that something was going on between Marie and Ann, and now he was about to find out what.

He quickly checks her text messages, and to his surprise ann was on there. Which a while ago it was only him, he continued to read it, seemingly like it was as deleted from the initial start.

Ann: "Yes girl! So excited for next weekend's plans"

Marie: "Me too! Can't wait to let loose and have some fun"

Ann: "Definitely need it after this crazy week. See you Saturday?"

Marie: "Sounds good to me!"

James felt like he'd been punched in the gut again. This couldn't be happening. Marie was planning a girls' night out with Ann without even mentioning it to him?

Just as James was reeling from the previous texts, a new message popped up...

Duriel (her boss): "Hey beautiful, how's your day going?"

Marie: "It's been okay, just trying to get through the workday, and i told you to stop calling me that."

Duriel (her boss): “ You know I can’t baby. Anyways you deserve a break tonight. Maybe we can grab drinks again tonight?”
