Chapter 6 by Guforess Guforess

What does Isaac see on the screen?

A surprising sight

Isaac waited nervously with bated breath, wondering what the "assets" the pizzeria held in such high regard would be. As the screen flickered to life, slowly getting brighter as the security cameras activated, Isaac nearly did a double take, blinking multiple times to see if what was on the screen was indeed real.

The main security camera was fixed on the stage, and what a sight it was. There, withered a bit with rust and dirt yet still standing, having stood the ruthless test of time, were 3... What were they? Robots? Androids? Isaac tried to find the proper word, his mind being distracted by the sight. The "assets" are mechanical beings in the shape of curvaceous women, robotic bodies covered in rust and fur to make them look like a combination of human and animal. While most machines are angular and edged in shape, these are somehow smooth, curved, and soft-looking with the fur adding another layer above the metallic endoskeleton. Their faces looked like animals, having snouts and other animalistic features, yet their bodies were undoubtedly human.

Isaac had seen creatures like that on the internet before, "furries" they were called. He never really got the appeal, but looking upon the round asses and breasts of the robot animal-people, he could see how someone **** enough would settle for them.

There were four of these "assets", 3 on the main stage and 1 on a smaller round stage covered by torn purple curtains in another room. Isaac tries to remember the layout as he quickly switches the cameras to get as many possible angles he can of the decaying place.

The 3 onstage were a top hat-wearing brown bear with a black bowtie, a blue bunny with a red bowtie, and a yellow chicken wearing a bib with "Let's fuck!" emblazoned on it in pink letters. The figure hiding behind the curtains was a pirate-themed fox with a hook hand and eyepatch on her right eye and arm. The flaking paint and missing spots of fur showed their age, yet their half-lidded eyes seemed almost sultry and tempting despite it all, like they were inviting him to partake in whatever they had been doing.

Realizing that he was starting to stare, Isaac shook his head to snap himself back. "I see some... Interesting robots. Those are the assets?" He asked the man on the phone, wondering if his mysterious employer would be kind enough to give some more exposition.

"Yeah. Keep watch on them via the cameras. They might look harmless, but they get a bit... Quirky at night. Not my words." The man on the phone was quick to correct that this strange phrase was clearly not his idea, "The battery has already been charged, though it can drain fast. Keep an eye on it. Once it runs out, there'll be a blackout, and you'll soon come to find out why you don't want that. These animatronics have a storied past behind them, or so I'm told."

Isaac tries to take in as much information as he could, yet he was bursting at the seams with questions. Nearly reaching his limit, he needed to get some things set straight before he could go on to work this strange job.

What question does he ask?
