A strange looking rod (Wand)

There at the edge of your senses as you perceive something... You aren't sure what it could be, but it seems to be a broken rod of metal, that has been tapped together at its break. You don't know how you can tell it is metal, maybe because it is slightly brighter when you perceive it with you tremor sense. It must have been something discarded by adventurer's after it became too damaged for them to use, or after they got something better to use. One man's trash is another slime's treasure! Worlds like these revolve around equipment as much as the characters, and you seem to have found your first piece...

Wait. Your a slime. Will you even be able to use such a thing. It isn't like you haven't seen slimes use equipment before, but all the times you can think about are more cutesy representations of a fantasy world. You aren't sure if you want to be able to be able to equip it if it would me you are in a world like that. However, you need something. You have just started this new life as a slime and it will not be long until some a-hole adventurer comes to kill you in their effort to grind some levels. That being said you aren't even sure this thing would help you with that, not being sure exactly what it might be. For all you know this thing could just be a broken chopstick.

There isn't a harm in collecting the thing though, and so you bound for it. Landing on top of it you feel it pierce through the surface tension of your lower self. A split second after this your you feel *glorp* the object lifted upon into you.

Ok...

Now what?

You aren't sure if anything else is supposed to be happening, but in the absence of anything happening to you or the object now suspended within your form for several moments you feel you might as well move on.

Hey! At least you have something akin to equipment now. Though you reiterate to yourself that you have no idea how this thing might help you. Still you can't just sit around and wait for something to happen. You have come a short while from where you started, and are beginning to wonder if you should continues following the pond's shore looking for a river to follow, or if you should venture into the fields opposite it.
