Chapter 40
Where do you make landfall?
A storm tossed Jungle.
The storm grows ever worse, you fear you might be on the fringes of a 'hurricane' though until now you had only a vague idea of what that meant, 'some kind of ocean based super storm', you would have said, but now you can picture it all too clearly. At last you end up at the crest of one of the monstrous waves that the storm is kicking up, and see before you land! Blessed land! A forest of some kind much like the one you left! Before the wave violently slams you down INTO that land, and those trees, and all of a sudden it's not so 'blessed' any more.
You take a whopping 592 points of damage all told as the massive swell sends you crashing through the foliage, branches, and occasional smaller trunk of the ~Jungle!~ you think as you continue to break through successive layers of canopy, before finally falling 40 feet to the floor of the tropical rain forest in which you find yourselves. Fortunately for Dana, who does not have your inhumanly high boss monster hit points, you were able to put her into a protective cocoon again as you saw the wave begin to break, but even so she got beat up, your vines not having the HP of your main body and some of the larger chunks of broken hardwood managing to punch through and injure her.
Dana, do you need help?! You ask as you open the cocoon and see it's interior spattered with blood from a dozen serious wounds.
"No, Ugh! Yes." She finishes weakly. Normally you like to save this for when you have sex but this is an emergency, so you start spraying her down with Herbal Flow! Dena pulls out the biggest shards of wood before the wounds can seal around them, and after a minute or two is back to full health, long before which between her magic and your own regeneration from the pouring rain and being back in good rich soil instead of poisonous seawater you are feeling 100% better.
As you look around yourself and hear the sounds of the jungle you cannot help but comment to Dana Fitting stomping grounds for the champions of the Goddess of the Wilds, don't you think? and she cannot help but agree.
Two days later you still feel about the same about the place, but Dana is in a VERY different mood. For you the semi constant rain is a godsend, making you nigh on invincible, but for her... "I AM SO GODS DAMNED SICK OF BEING WET!!!" She screams for the fifth or sixth time, and you feel for her, but other than shielding her with some of your fronds and vines can do nothing about it, and the rain always eventually seeps through.
We could try heading north, I think it becomes a grassland up that way... you query after a while.
What is Dana's answer to this suggestion?

Game Monster
From Creep to Boss
You come into being as a low-level monster, the kind heroes chew through like popcorn. You know the drill, whether you're a player yourself or an artificial intelligence, and you're sick of it. You set out on your own quest: to defeat the heroes at any cost (or at least be an epic boss somewhere down the line).
