A soothing voice

"Good Morning Darien." A soothing voice quietly says.

"Lexie...Hey! Good morning." you want to stand up but your body isn't allowing it at the moment, your eyes are still squinted at her, but you smell something...something that smells wonderful.

"Is that...is that..."

"Bacon and Eggs..." Lexie interrupts "Yes. I figured you had a rough night and it's the least I could do." She instinctively goes over to the table, forgetting that it's smashed to pieces on the ground, before she turns back to you on the bed "Guess you get breakfast in bed." she chuckles.

"Lexie...oh my god...I'm so sorry. Did I...Did I do this?"

She laughs once more "I figured you wouldn't remember. Now lay back in bed." she orders.

"Okay." you reply, inching yourself back into bed, sitting up with your back against the headboard. "Did we uhh...ya know..."

"Oh my, no way! You were as limp as a worm last night. You really wanted it, but no way were you preforming last night."

"Uhh, well...ya know..." you're quite embarrassed "So, why am I here...and...well. I'm sorry...again." you pout at Lexie.

"No worries, Darien. After Ashe and I went to the bathroom and you and Hawk left..." she tilts her head "Whatever happened to Hawk anyway...I'm sure he's on his scouting mission now. Either way, when we got out of the bathroom, we went to your chambers, assuming that's where you would be. We waited. And waited. And waited some more. Ashe got too exhausted and passed out. She's probably still in your chambers, she was out of it."

"Yeah, she drank...we all drank tons, well besides you." you smile.

"Yup. After she passed out, I stayed awake, waiting. Eventually I went out looking for you, asked around, found out you went above the mountain with Silvius and Felix, those two can be trouble together" she laughs "Kept asking around and ended up finding you here. No clue why you came here or how or why you destroyed my room. But, I'm sure you'll make up for it." she cocks her head and smiles.

"I'm really sorry Lexie." you reach out, holding her hand "You're too good for me."

"I know." she instantly replies "But as I said, eat up, it's your last day before you head south. I'm sure you have lots of things to finish up on, plus you have the pre-war speech to give to your Sunriders at the Training Grounds later."

"Pre-war speech?"

"Yeah, to pump up the Sunriders, tell them the plan, ya know, be a good leader?"

"Sure, of course..." you didn't know that was something you had to do.

"Then you get to have one more enjoyable night with your Sunriders before you head to war. Better make it count! Gotta make you feel better this morning so you can party hard again tonight!" she smiles once more.

You start to eat your food slowly, it's making your body start to feel so much better, plus having Lexie at your side, her head laying down on your shoulder, her nice warm cozy body fitting perfectly into your side.
