A slight problem

When it comes to shipping highly magical artifacts into Sunnydale it is best to do it in secret or with heavy security. There are beings, powerful beings, less powerful beings and the average human whos in the know who reside in Sunnydale that covet highly magical artifacts. Some collect for personal use, some for business, some for obsession. These beings pay attention to what goes in and what goes out and if whatever is being transported is worth taking.

As such when a powerful magical artifact is shipped thru the U.S. postal system in a regular carboard box filled with bubble wrap such beings regard that as the artifact being up for grabs.

Such was the case when the Wishbone crossed into Sunnydale. Several beings were suddenly aware that there was a game changing artifact up for grabs and on the move.
