A sleeping wife

Hunter's sharp hearing picked up the sound of deep breathing coming from the living room. He recognised the sound of Jess sleeping, and with a silent sigh of relief he turned to wave at Lyndsey and shut the door.

On silent feet he slipped into the house and up the stairs. He took off Lyndsey's bathrobe and hid it under the bed before pulling on some sweats and a t-shirt and returning downstairs. He could hear his wife still breathing in deep sleep as he padded into the living room. She was cuddled under a comforter, her pretty face slack and relaxed in repose. He smiled as he watched her sleep for a moment, considering his next move.
