A sit down between the Shah women and the authorities.

"Why don't you have a seat, Mrs. Shah?" the cop said, gesturing to the chair next to Emily's.

The young woman was still handcuffed to the table. It seemed a little unnecessary to Camilla-- it wasn't as if Emily was dangerous, after all. But she didn't want to risk rocking the boat too much and worsening an already bad situation. She took a seat beside her daughter, keeping her eyes forward as if that would preserve some of the poor girl's modesty.

The police officer sat opposite the two women. "I have some very bad news about your daughter, Mrs. Shah," he said, putting the clipboard down on the table.

Emily had no fucking idea what was happening. She had made good on her deal with this pig bastard, hadn't she? She hadn't complained-- much-- even as he had stuck his thumb up her asshole or given her a shock from his taser. He had promised, though his promises probably weren't very reliable, that she wouldn't be charged for her... indiscretion with the other cosplayer back at the convention hall. So why the hell was her mother even here?

The cop looked over the sheets on his clipboard in silence for far too long. Then he looked up at Camilla with a stern look on his face. "Emily is in a lot of trouble. Frankly, she's a delinquent. I don't even want to tell you everything she's done today, but seeing as you came all the way out here..."

Camilla's heart was pounding. Now she was worrying about why her daughter had been escorted, naked, out of the convention hall. She had purposely blocked it out of her mind, but now she couldn't help but think about it. No matter what the choices were, none of them were good.

"Public indecency, public fornication, public intoxication," (The cops had made that one up) "Those are what got her kicked out of an event earlier today. And then she tried to solicit a police officer for sex. She's gone down a bad path, Mrs. Shah." He kept the glee out of his voice, but the cop could see Camilla's face falling. She was buying it and soon she would be in the palm of his hand.

"You accepted it!" Emily exclaimed.

The officer raised his hand to stop her. "See?" he said. "She admitted it."

Somehow the truth that this man had taken advantage of her daughter went right by Camilla. She only heard the laundry list of offences that her daughter had been accused of.

"But," the cop said. "I have good news, too."
