The high knight Palafine was very convinced of herself and her advisors tried desperately to prevent the inevitable.

Many soldiers in your troop wondered what was worse, the punishment of desertion (when caught) or becoming a slave of the monster girls.
Some fled to try their luck back home, others willingly surrendered to the enemy.

Unsurprisingly, Palafine was not only annoying and obnoxious in battle.
