A semi-functional display of what the future might look like.

“Welcome to the World of Tomorrow, where the future is at your fingertips.” A robotic voice sounding disturbingly like GLaDOS spoke over an intercom was Nora and Molly entered the hall. “Here you will discover what science once thought the future would be, as well as what we now think it holds.”

Just as with the main hall, Nora and Molly had to stop and take a moment to look around at the sheer amount of stuff in the area. The room was divided in half, with the left side being filled with what people in the past thought the future would hold, and the right side being current predictions, as well as some very early stage prototypes.

“Where do we even begin?” Molly mumbled. As if answering her question, the robotic lady on the intercom spoke again.

“For a guided tour of the facilities, please follow the obvious dotted arrows along the floor.” She said. The girls looked to the ground and indeed saw the arrows leading them around the room, starting from the beginning of the left side.

“Does she sound sassy to you?” Nora asked.

“It’s probably on purpose to make her sound more human.” Molly said. “But honestly it just makes her sound creepy.”

“Agreed.” Nora said, giggling. She started walking towards the arrows, before turning back to Molly. “I guess we better get started then.”

Molly took a few brisk steps to catch up to Nora where the two then walked side by side along the designated path.
