Chapter 25 by Squickfantasies Squickfantasies

Does she get dragged in?

A saviour appears!

Sarah felt the tentacles drag her closer and closer to the abyssal portal, closing her eyes and accepting her inevitable fate. But right as she reached the edge of the portal, she noticed a bright light through her eyelids. She felt the tentacles jerk and then loosen as they let go of her legs. Even though the creature dragging her in wasn't capable of speech, she swears she heard a deafening shriek in her ears.

Gathering a bit of her strength, she looked up at the now open door of her room. Standing there, glowing with pristine white light, was the visage of their group's leader, Lynnyssea. She held out her staff aloft as a second beam of holy light shot out and went for the creatures core. Again, a terrible scream reverberated in Sarah's skull as the creature slithered more of its tentacles back into the hole, this time releasing both her hands and neck. Only the large one wrapped around her waist, was still attached and trying to pull her in.

"Lynn...", Sarah muttered weakly, a moment of clarity coming over the warlock. "The portal... close the portal." Lynnysea heard her friend's strained plea and directed her next attack at the portal itself. The white magic of the priestess of Elune clashed with the abyssal magic still present around the portal. Soon, the white magic won out. The magic keeping the portal open had been mostly used up by now and this final bolt directed at it was enough to close it instantly. A wet ripping noise was heard as the remaining tentacles were severed and laid writhing on the floor.

Lynnyssea ran over to her friend, swatting away the squirming and bleeding tentacles with her staff, before pulling her away from the doused ritual circle. She used her hands to pry the still tight tentacle loose from her friends waist. Sarah just let it happen, to weak at this point to help her saviour in her endeavors to remove her from the room. "Come on, Sarah! Help me out here! You're heavy and I don't know what those severed things are still capable of," Lynnyssea said to her friend, trying to pull her up.

Sarah groaned as she slowly stood up with the help of Lynnyssea's hand. She leaned on her shoulder, putting her face in the priestesses's long purple hair. As the pair stumbled out of the room, Sarah couldn't help but notice the smell of Lynnyssea's lustrous locks. Not bitter-sweet like the smell of decay now permeating the room, but sweet and flower-like. It snapped her back to reality, the horror of what happened to her moments earlier and what would have happened if Lynnyssea hadn't shown up, finally setting in as she started sobbing.

Lynnyssea put the warlock onto a cushioned chair, before rushing back and closing the door to Sarah's room with a loud bang. She quickly dragged a nearby dresser in front of it to make sure nothing made it out. She returned to Sarah, giving the naked and still cum-covered warlock a tight hug, not caring about smearing her own robe with the vile black stuff. "By the goddess Sarah, I thought I'd lose you right there. What happened in there?"

Sarah sobbed as her breathing remained ragged. The girl was in shock. She just went through a horrible ordeal. All her holes were violated as the tentacled monstrosity attempted to impregante her and abduct her to its home dimension. She trembled in fear as she relived the recent memomory in her mind. But there was also something else beneath the fear, a feeling she couldn't quite place. Something that felt like she had lost something without understanding what.

She was snapped out of her train of thought by Lynnyssea who shook her violently. "Sarah. Come back to me! What happened? I can't help you if you won't speak to me. I need to know exactly what I'm dealing with here before I attempt to cleanse that room." This time the question registered. As Sarah was about to tell Lynnyssea everything, she also realised the risk behind answering the priestess' question.

Lynnyssea was probably the only one that could help her right now. But admitting to what she did, that she was the one who summoned the creature while attempting a demonic summoning ritual on the sacred grounds of the temple, that would make Lynnyssea just as likely to kill her as help her. Sarah considered her next words carefully.

Tell Lynnyssea the truth?
