A rural area

Even though they were on the interstate, it looks like the bus is in the middle of nowhere. There are a few trees, but mostly farming fields and grass are on either side.

Mark taps on the bus' GPS and says, "Looks like... wow. The real middle of nowhere."

He points to the exact spot, but has to zoom out several times before any points of interest show up on the screen.

"Looks like there's farm land, more farm land, 1 gas station, and some cows," Mark grumbles.

Kina frowns and pulls her phone from the back pocket of her snug worn jeans. She holds it up; trying to get a signal and frowns again; her freckles moving as her nose crinkles.

"There's a gas station across that field," Mark points off to the right. "I have to check things out and see what's going on with the bus, but it's gonna be awhile. Once I figure out what I need, I'll walk to the gas station and see if I can get a part or call for AAA."

Kina looks at the smoke still coming from the bus and then over to the right. She can see the gas station, but it still looks to be a healthy mile.

"I was going to upload a video to YouTube, but I really can't without a good signal," she says.

She looks back toward the back of the bus to where her guitar is, then out the window toward the gas station. She thinks to herself: I could stay on the bus and work on some songs, or I could walk to the gas station and see if they have WiFi or better signal there.
