A run-in with the paparazzi!

Negi, staggering slightly, left the building and went on his way to the room he shared with Asuna and Konoka (though Konoka spent most nights with Setsuna). About halfway, he paused.

Negi, thinking: Uh-oh. If i come back so soon, Asuna will realize what happened. If she knows i made love with Ayaka, i don't know if her slight fondness for me will outweigh her dislike of her. If not, she'll report us! I have to stay out for awhile, if only to come up with a convincing story.

He strolled through campus, staying in the high school area, since he was eager to explore unfamiliar ground. Along the way, he bumped into Kaede, Fuka and Fumika on one of their 'late-night walking club' outings. He exchanged brief pleasantries with them before being on his way. A little further he found Kazumi out taking a picture of a tree, it seemed.

Negi: Good evening, Kazumi. What are you looking at?

Kazumi: Oh, hey, Negi-kun. Sayo-chan asked me to take a few pictures of her, so i am.

Negi: Oh. Hello, Sayo!

Sayo: Hello, Negi-sensei.

Kazumi: She said 'hi'.

Negi chuckled. Over sixty years of being a ghost, and she still acted like everyone could hear her.

Negi: Any particular reason you're taking pictures of Sayo?

Kazumi: Not really. She just asked me to, and i figured i had some space to burn on this memory stick, so what the hell.

Negi: I see. Well, have fun. But don't stay out too late. You never know what kind of people come around here late.

Kazumi: Actually, i do. The boys from the other schools sneak onto campus and go on panty-raids.

Negi: P-PANTY RAIDS!??! WHY?!

Kazumi: They want some panties, i guess.

Negi: Oh. I...guess that makes sense...

Kazumi: Hmmm....Hey, Negi-kun. How'd you like to do me a favor?
