A room overlooking the pool

Uncle Nathan leads me towards the back of the house, quite near where there is a set of double doors, to which I assume is the master bedroom. Opposite a space, a loft where there is a good place to relax or do some light reading, is a door where my uncle leads me into. The room is quite spacious. There is a king-sized bed towards the back of the room, where there is a set of double glass doors, with curtains that block out a portion of the light from the outside. There is another door that leads into a small walk-in closet, which right now is only filled with spare blankets and pillows.

“You’re going to like this, Charles” Uncle Nathan says and leads me through the double glass doors to what I assume is the balcony. Instead, it is an elevated deck that overlooks the pool situated below. From what I can see, this is a private pool, as it doesn’t have any of the exterior parts of the property that can see it. The house seems to surround the pool entirely, with nothing but open air exposing the pool to the sky right above. There is a set of stairs that would allow someone to go to the pool from this level. And the doors leading into other parts of the house are probably other rooms. Remembering the direction this room and the master bedroom faced, immediately to my right is the access to the master bedroom. I imagine it’s likely the largest bedroom in the house. I don’t recall what the layout of the house was when I was a little kid, but I suspect there have been renovations or additions to the house since that time.

“It’s incredible, Uncle Nathan,” I comment.

“Is there anything else do you need?” he asks.

His question seems like a likely opportunity to come clean about my plans regarding X-Change. I could confess my plans to him now, or wait until later.
