A rooftop garden on the river

This year, Northwestern decided to do something different. At the start of Orientation Week, there was a cocktail reception for new students at the rooftop garden of one of the buildings facing the Chicago River. Renee dressed up for the cocktail reception while the rest of her family toured the rest of downtown and its museums, and they agreed to meet back up on campus during the evening.

Renee walked down the sidewalk with a confident swagger, placing each heeled foot in front of the other as though she were a runway model. It was when she reached the ground entrance of the building, however, that she realized there was trouble afoot.
