A ring of teleportation

"A ring of what?" Tess asked for clarity as Gregg began unboxing it.

"A ring of teleportation. You put it on your finger and you can teleport!" He grinned happily. "It will take you wherever you want to go!" He explained happily.

Tess smiled. "Sounds cool. How far can it take you?"

"I don't know." Gregg shrugged, eyeing the shiny silver ring. "I don't know much about magic. Some teleportation things can take you anywhere. Literally anywhere. But some times it's only to like... places you've been before? Or something. I could ask someone."

"We should go find someone to ask! There's a bunch of magic people in this town. We could get some answers. Or... we could just risk it and try it ourselves! It shouldn't have limited uses. Right? So we could just test it out." Tess thought for a second. "What if it doesn't even work? What if it's a normal ring? I think we should test it, but it's up to you."
