A regular routine, with extra lessons

After an initial welcome and introduction to all the other Maidens you will be living with from now on, you are thrown directly into the routine of life in the abbey. Your schedule is dominated by several hours of prayer three times a day, after breakfast, lunch, and dinner, all of which are prepared by several of the more senior Maidens at the abbey.

Nearly every day, after at least one of these prayer sessions, you feel the mark on your chest calling you back to the Head Mother. Instead of doing the regular chores you are assigned, you usually spend the rest of the day with the Head Mother either in extra prayers to Oanh or honing your magical abilities. Because of this you quickly get much closer to the Head Mother than any of the other Maidens in the abbey. After only a few weeks you see her as close as your own biological mother, which is definitely helped along by the mark on your chest. As you spend more time with each other you begin feeling her emotions when you are apart and can exchange simple messages from afar, which you begin doing often after going to bed.

You find the current arrangement comfortable, but a question nags at you which you eventually resolve yourself to ask the Head Mother in person - why is she so interested in you?
