A refreshing and clean morning

After Viridian City was a bust, you wake up with an extra dose of energy for your next goal of beating the Cinnabar Island Gym! Having been taught the dangers of “asking for it” yesterday, you opt for your reliable tank top and skirt today. With scarcely another thought, you dash out the door and are immediately met with disappointment as you realize that the Gym is not within sight of the Pokemon Center. Viridian City’s urban planners were too good for this world…

You wander the streets for a bit, but your plan of asking for directions is thwarted by the fact that nobody is here. Nobody! This whole place is practically a ghost town. It’s even less busy than Rifure Town! If no one will tell you, then you’ll just have to figure it out on your own. Think, Emilia… What around here looks like an important landmark?

Aha! That big mountain over there is the biggest landmark here for sure. That must mean the Gym Leader uses Ground-type pokemon, and their Gym is probably at the base of the mountain! You’re a genius!

Your clever deduction pays off as you approach the base of the mountain and find a big mansion. Though, it does look a bit strange… All the vegetation around it is overgrown, and the roof even has holes in it. But your suspicions are confirmed by a large sign reading ‘Cinnabar Island Gym’. This is it! You open the big doors, accompanied by a loud creaking sound, and step inside.

“H-Hello?” you call out. This place is awfully dark, even with a hole in the ceiling of the main entrance. There’s no one around, either, and you’re starting to wonder if that tiny ferry was this entire island’s population. It’s cold, too, like the A/C hasn’t been running. Wait… This is a tropical island! An abandoned house would be hot, not cold!

Just as your suspicions are reaching their peak, the lights turn on. And then they turn off. They flicker rapidly, but you whirl around and still can’t see anyone. A heavy gust of wind flies past you a moment later, and before you can push your skirt down, an unseen hand rubs your panties. It’s cold… And rude…

“W-Wha!? Who’s there!? And don’t touch me!” you yell.

As you frantically look around some more, you finally manage to pick out a warped, transparent figure somewhere roughly in front of you. No way… i-is that…?

You stumble backwards out of fear and end up falling on your butt. Only now does the entity finally speak. “Trespassers… Will. Be. Fucked!”

You scream and run out of the mansion as fast as you can. Ghost! That was definitely a ghost! You sprint all the way out of the fenced-in yard of the mansion, then take a minute to collect your wits and catch your breath.

Situation report: You need a badge from Cinnabar Island’s Gym, but the Gym’s haunted and no one’s there. Obviously, they also ran away because it’s haunted. If you want the badge, you need people to come back to the Gym, which means the Gym needs to not be haunted.
