A proposition is made

“No it isn’t”, Mark replied with a yawn. “Time is frozen remember.”

“Hardee har har”, Ashley said rather sarcastically. “When I was done playing with my partner, and was ready to go home, I went looking for you. To my surprise, I found you asleep inside her”, Ashley gestures at Jennifer, “for what felt like two hours.”

“Why didn’t you wake me up?”

“Because I’m nice like that.”

“Uhh…thanks I guess. And HER name is Jennifer. And she is a classmate of mine.”

Ashley furrowed her brow. “An entire TV station of hot talent, and you chose your classmate?”

“Yeah, so”, Mark said defensively.

Ashley shrugged, “I mean, I don’t really care. So are you going to keep her?”

“What”, Mark said, genuinely shocked. “Keep her?”

“Yeah keep her. I’m keeping Mitch as a frozen love doll, and I assumed you were keeping the piggy Nadia. Why do you think I had you freeze them.”

“I….uhhh.”

“You can’t be that dense?”

Mark blinked a few times, taking advantage while frozen temporally was one thing, but to freeze someone and keep them forever. He was willing to admit to not thinking of it before, but the idea of both Nadia me Jennifer being his forever was rather thrilling.

“Mark?”, Ashley called out. “What do you think.”

Mark looked at Jennifer’s nude body again. She could be his forever. “Yeah” he said quietly. “Yeah, let’s do it. Jennifer, Stop” Jennifer did not react at all, having already been frozen with the rest of time.

Ashley clapped her hands. “Great. You should consider bringing Katie in on this secret.”

“Really?”, Mark said as he picked Jennifer up onto her two feet.

“I’ve seen the way you look at her. There is so much tension there, if you two got married, I wouldn’t be surprised.” Mark tried object, but Ashley continued: “Plus I assume she would be worried about her sister, even if it is a piggy like Nadia.”

“That very thoughtful for someone you hated”, Mark said as he re-dressed Jennifer in her clothes.

Ashley rolled her eyes. “I still like Katie, I'm not saying this not out of comradeship for Nadia. Besides it’s either this, or freeze her and complete the collection.”

Mark did not respond to the 2nd suggestion, instead picking Jennifer up over his shoulder and gesturing that they should head on out. As they walked back to the truck, he thought about what Ashley said about the tension with Katie, did her like her like that? And how was he going to tell her what he did to her sister? He had some thinking and planing to go through.
