A pleasant talk

The next day, you and Brianna stumble out of the inn. You can hear Addie chuckling behind you as the door closes, and you can’t help but smile yourself. Beside you, Brianna seems to be having trouble moving with the fluid grace you saw before, but a big smile is plastered on her face as well. Glancing at you, she gives you a playful shove.

“What are you grinning about, big guy? Yes, I’m sore, you rode me harder than I expected!”

You laugh. “I hope I didn’t overdo it.”

Brianna shakes her head. “Nope! If I’m not walking funny the next day, you didn’t do it right! I’d say you passed.”

You chuckle and shrug. “I do my best. You like it rougher than most of the others.”

She raises an eyebrow. “Most? Do tell!”

Smiling, you glance towards the camp. “I try not to kiss and tell, but I suppose since you’re one of us now there’s no harm in it.”

Brianna laughs. “The way you say ‘one of us’ makes it sound like some weird cult!”

You wink at her. “A sex cult, maybe. But no, we’re weird, but not that weird. But as I was saying, all of the girls are a little bit different. Alex is the easiest example, I don’t think there’s anything she wouldn’t try in the bedroom…or outside of it, for that matter.”

Brianna nods. “I got that impression. She seems like a lot of fun!”

You chuckle. “Definitely. If the others, it’s probably Nadia who is closest to you in tastes.”

She looks at you curiously. “The faerie? She looks so delicate, though!”

You nod. “That’s what I thought at first, too. But she’s much tougher than she looks. As for the rest, the one to watch out for is Ferra. She’s extremely submissive towards me, but will happily take charge with everyone else.”

Brianna smiles. “Interesting. As for myself, I’ve spent so much time in command, being in control of everything. In private, I like having someone else take the reins, so to speak.”

You grin. “I’ll have to see if I can find some reins to put on you.”

Brianna laughs. “Don’t make a promise that you won’t keep…”

You wink at her again as the two of you head into camp. “Im a man of my word. But for now, we have a lot to do.”

She nods, scanning the camp with a professional eye. “We do indeed. It seems that my men are all settled in. We probably bought some time with that victory, but we need to press this advantage.”

Before you can respond, Ferra approaches, accompanied by Rahu. Ferra silently stands by your side, taking your hand as always. Rahu gives Brianna a glance before addressing you.

“My preparations are nearly complete. I should be able to transport you within a day.”

You nod. “Good, we can strike before news of our win gets back to the capital. Let’s gather everyone, I have some ideas. Possibly even a plan.”

Rahu chuckles. “A good start, then. I’ll go get the others.”

You turn to Brianna. “If you have officers, you should get them. This is important.”

She smiles and nods. “You got it. See you soon.”

The redhead plants a kiss on your lips before hurrying off to where her cavalry has encamped. You watch her go, then head towards the command tent with Ferra. The golem girl gives your hand a squeeze, but says nothing, a small smile on her face. You smile back, your mind already churning with ideas for what’s coming.
