“I think the second beam hit him” you said, pointing towards Nick who was sitting closer to you at the back of the coach.

There was a flash of light and, when your eyes adjusted, you now saw Dena sitting where Nick was, in his clothing, and Nick sitting where Dena was, in her clothing.

“I think it swapped their bodies around” Rebecca said, “Look. Dena, Nick, whoever it is, is still acting like Nick.”

She was right. Nick was sitting there playing on their phone and scratching between his, hers, their legs like a guy usually would. Rebecca lifted the remote next, your hand still touching it, and fired off again.

“Oh, it hit Naomi” Rebecca said, sounding a bit concerned. You were both good friends with Naomi from a few years back.

“And Zoe” you said. They were both sitting behind each other, so you hoped you would be able to see the change from behind.

“Try again then” Rebecca said. You aimed the remote and fired, hitting Naomi a second time but missing Zoe and getting Joel instead, who was sitting next to Zoe.

“You missed!” Rebecca said, “How could you miss?”

“The coach hit a bump in the road” you said, “Its fine. Lets just swap them anyway”

“Fine. Random swap” Rebecca said pressing the button for you. “Nothing again!” she moaned.

The remote looked like it swapped nothing between them, but it did swap their sexual knowledge. You pulled out your driving license from your pocket and confirmed it, your first name was now Laura.

“Thank god it didnt change anything else from her” you said, “wouldnt want to become fat.”
