Who do you test it on?
A neighbor reading a book.
You spotted a neighbor reading a book in the front yard next door. She was clearly enjoying the sunshine, oblivious to the strange device you now held. Curiosity got the better of you, and you decided to test the remote. You pointed it at her and pressed the Pause button. To your astonishment, she froze in place, her eyes fixed on the page, a slight smile on her face. You took the book from her hands to see if she would react.
Sure enough, she didn't flinch or react in any way, completely frozen in time. You couldn't believe your eyes—this device actually worked! Satisfied, you handed the book back to her, and pressed Play, making sure not to be seen by her. She simply returned to her reading, oblivious to the brief pause in her day.
