A monster attacks a village

“The village Cornflower Fields is about a day of traveling from here,” Tocar explains, “but we will use a horse, so we should arrive by dusk. The villagers and the farmers around have been terrorized by a creature that attacks their farms and livestock. Survivors of the attacks described the creature as a giant wolf with a scorpion tail. I assume we have to face a chimera. Our mission is simple, we go there, find this monster, defeat it, find out where it comes from and if there is no reason to stay, we return home. I … was a little surprised when they told me to work with a dark mage. Chimeras are often created by dark magic. Maybe you can help to discover where this thing came from. Or you can force it under your control so I can kill it more easy. But whatever you do, don’t do any unnecessary experiments. This thing is dangerous and we want it dead.
