A mission in the Deepsea Metro

"Marie, hurry up!" Yelled a very excited Callie, who was currently running through the main station platform of the Deepsea Metro, "We aren't going to get this job done any faster if you keep moving as slow as a starfish!"

Calmly, her cousin walked behind her, sighing under her breath.

"Callie, there is no rush...Gramps told us this was going to take a few hours, so there's no need to be wasting all you're energy now. Agent 8 already told us how difficult their puzzles were. We're going to want to be well rested and ready to take on the stations on this line."

Marie now calmly sat down at a bench and waited for the train. After a few seconds of pouting, Callie joined her. The two had just arrived after Capt. Cuddlefish and Agent 8 just got done uncovering a new line to the Metro. According to them, C.Q. Cumber was unaware of this particular set of stations, which were referred to as the Red 'K' line...

The conductor had requested the Squidbeak Splatoon assist in testing the puzzles of this line to see if it was safe for public use. A simple task, but possibly a very risky one.

It didn't take long for the subway train to return to the main station, the doors opening up for the two performers. The small blue conductor now slowly crawled over to them.

"Hello there, passengers. Are you two ready to ride the Deepsea Metro? I trust you both have your CQ-80 devices ready...?"

Callie now pulled out the small little gizmo.

"Yep!"

Marie simply showed her own to the conductor as well, pleasing the small sea cucumber.

"Alright then...Let's get going. The 'K' Line awaits..."

He then slowly crawled back onboard, the two girls following close behind. This was going to be some train ride. Who knew what sort of puzzles and gimmicks these tests involved...? Knowing Kamabo Corporation puzzles, it surely wouldn't be easy.

The doors to the subway car closed and they were now on their way to the first station...
