A minotaur

Terrence wasn't deep into the cave before he heard the bellow come from further in. Knowing the sound to only be a minotaur, Terrence continued on.

Soon the minotaur's torches began to light the way for Terrence, making it easier for him to navigate. The bellows continued, sounding nearly like the beast was crying out for help.

Terrence walked into the room the bellows originated from, finding a large open room. A few torches around the walls allowed for enough light to see at least the first third of the room. There he saw the minotaur, but it wasn't what Terrence had been expecting.
