A meeting with bill

"Hello? Anyone here?" I had knocked on the door to the supposed pokemaniac's house and hadn't gotten a response. One of the trainers on route 24 had just been talking about how he got to scan bill's pokedex just an hour ago, so he surely must be home.

"Come in, come in." A soft voice said. It somewhat startled me as there was no one in the room with me.

"Who's there?" I began walking around a table with a computer. I could see wires running up and down this way and that, they led to two giant metal contraptions, just large enough for a person to stand inside without too much effort. The second container was much larger, as it took up at least a quarter of the space the room had.

"I'm down here!" The voice was still soft but was raised a luttle louder this time. Circling around the table with the computer on it, I saw a little pink ball of fluff on the ground. It was a jigglypuff.

"Did you just speak?!" This was mind boggling. A pokemon who could speak in english. It was incredible.

"I did, I'm Bill, the pokemaniac. What you see before you is the results of an experiment going horribly correct! I managed to send my conciousness into the body of a pokemon. However, my poor jigglypuff's conciousness is now in my body which is locked inside the smaller contraption over there. I would reverse the process except I cant reach the controls on the laptop. Any chance you could help me? Just type in reverse program:2. It will automatically reverse the process." He then hopped into the machine and waited for me to execute the program.

"Uhhhh, okay here we go." I typed in the command and hit enter. The machine hummed at first bwfore a bloodcurdling scream erupted from the smaller compartment where bill's body was.

"Agghhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! Aghhhhhhhhhhh!!!!" The blood drained from my face as I began panicking. What if I misheard him and typed it in wrong. What if I just killed him? What if-

"Aghhhhhhhahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Oh my arceus that was too funny." Bill stepped out of the machine before walking over and letting his jigglypuff out of the larger contraption.

"You- you're ok?!" There was an edge of anger to my voice.

"You asshole I thought I just killed you or something!"

"My sincerest apologies my lady, I couldn't help but have some fun at your expense. Let me make it up to you. I have a cruise ticket for the S.S. Anne in vermillion city. They leave in a week's time. I'm always getting these invitations and I was planning on skipping it. Here take it! Its yours. Its the least I can do after you helped me and since I gave you a heart attack." He held out a small blue ticket that I gingerly grabbed.

"You have a warped sense of hunkr you know that right?"

"Oh I know, hahaha I have known for awhile. My apologies again ma'am. Before you go may I know your name at least?"

"I'm Leaf. Though I can't say its entirely a pleasure to meet you."

"That's fair anyway. Well Leaf, go enjoy your cruise, its a great way to relax after all that stress." I waved goodbye and headed out along the road back to cerulean city. The tunnel to vermillion city should just be on the other side of cerulean city if my map was correct. Well, I have a week before they set sail. May as well get going.
