Where is she?
A massive gingerbread castle
Several more gumdrops lit up in shimmering rainbow colors on the floor around Tina. The light revealed a massive, multistory complex, all made of various cookies, candies, bread, cake, and all kinds of sweets she'd never seen before. The hungry knight's mouth watered at the sight and smell of frosted gingerbread wall stretching higher than she'd seen before.
Past the hole Tina had eaten through the upper story was a huge ballroom ceiling, complete with an intricate glass chandelier filled with what she assumed was milk. The room she sat in looked more like a playroom, with about a dozen gumdrop cushions layed out on the floor, a fairy-child-sized dining table and tea set, and a playmat made from strawberry jam. Tina dipped her finger into the jam and licked her finger clean, sending her taste buds skyrocketing from the rich flavor. She scooped a big handful and scarfed it down, moaning in delight.
I've gotta mix this stuff together, she thought, grabbing another handful of jam and running over to the gingerbread wall. She ripped two pieces of the wall and squished them into the jam, making a little jam sandwich. The mix was even better than either had been on their own. In just two big bites, she'd scarfed down her makeshift dish and sighed contentedly.
Tina had long since satisfied her rumbly tummy, but she couldn't stop herself from eating more. It was like she was mesmerized by the She sauntered to the door of the playroom, tearing off pieces of the gumdrop cushions as she passed them, and opened it. The door, interestingly enough, was made from dark-chocolate rather than gingerbread. It was a nice change of pace, if anything, and Tina simply waltzed into the hallway, snatching the chocolate doorknob as she did. The hallway was roomier than the china castle had been, with the ceiling stretching up to the second story. Tina figured she'd have to make her way back up there eventually, but that would be a problem for later.
The hallway was lit with small magic candles in sconces along the wall. Tina was grateful that she wouldn't have to navigate the place in the dark. The carpet beneath her feet was made from red licorice, which felt odd against her bare soles. There was an easy solution to that, of course, so Tina lifted a strand and started chewing. The carpet "unraveled" as she strolled, taking ganders at the doorways she passed. Strangely, they all seemed to be made of a different type of chocolate, which Tina figured served in lieu of nameplates for the different rooms. She, or course, had no idea what was behind any of them, but that was the joy of exploration after all. After she'd had her fill of licorice, she opened a mocha-flavored door to find...
