A man and a woman.

As Jess and Richard rounded the corner of the alleyway they saw something they didn't expect. A young girl, probably 18 or 19, was being held against a dumpster, against her will. She had on a pink dress that most likely would have barely covered her ass, and a white thong from what Richard saw. They couldn't see her face, but she definitely wasn't selling herself to this man, she was being ****.

"Richard, you have to do something!"

"Me, why me?"

"We're frozen in time, just, I don't know, get him off her!"

Following his sisters demand, he jogged up to the two people. As he was reaching to pull the man out of her, that's when he felt it. He recognized what the feeling was. It was a weaker version of what he felt traveling back in time, that uneasy feeling of what felt like pure evil. As he touched the man, a shadow from the wall stepped into the mans body.

The man turned his head slowly towards Richard, a large grin on his face, eyes void of any light, darker than dark. He opened his mouth, and a unearthly deep voice boomed from within.

"Hahahaha, the old ones chose you to protect the cage.", the low vibration of it's voice shaking Richard's insides to his core. "Finally at last, they have made a mistake in who they choose as the protector, you're not even strong enough to fight a baby!"

"You have no right to be here Vetala", Richard said. He was surprised at the sound of authority as he boomed right back at the entity. Also, Richard wondered where the word Vetala came from. It was like something was talking with him. "You are bound by the vail, go back to where you came."

"Ah, Freyja, so you are still alive. You may command this meat sack, but your power can not touch me. Not in this realm."

The man raised his arms, black-nothing shot out of him, hitting Richard dead in the chest, pinning him against the wall.

"Send me back if you can bitch, I know you can't. I'll tear your **** in half!", the entity shouted.

Richard felt the ring pushing energy through him, holding back the darkness so it didn't directly touch him. The light from it was getting extremely close to going out, and he didn't know how much longer it would last.

Suddenly an ear splitting crack of thunder blasted through the alleyway, followed closely behind a blinding white light. As the light passed the man, it ripped the entity out of him. Richard watched as the entity slipped through a crack in the air, seemingly to go into nothing, but now instinctively knowing that it was gone. He turned to see where the light came from, to see who it was, but he only saw the very end of a gray cloak disappearing around the corner.

Richard dropped to the ground, looking up he saw that the man was now laying on side with a giant gash on his forehead. Richard thought that did him right, he made a motion for Jess to come after him as he ran down the alleyway trying to find, who or what had just protected him.
