Chapter 324 by Sidian Sidian

Announce yourself or leave them be?

A little fun & games.

Once more, the next kid stands up, grabbing the wooden short sword from the kid who just "died" and enters the make shift arena. Apparently they keep fighting around in the circle until there is a final victor maybe. You honestly didn't know what they did, but you didn't care. These were little kids, just having fun, practicing to hopefully one day be amazing warriors.

But you couldn't just leave them at that. You couldn't just let them get away with their actions. You may as well have a little fun with them.

You close the curtain once more, quickly brushing off some of the dirt and cobwebs that got stuck to your armor. Bringing both your hands up, you wrap your hood over your head. You had a feeling most of these kids have never seen you before and figured this would be quite the treat. How often do you get to see such beautiful, scary looking armor. These kids probably never have.

You figure hell, if you're going to toy with the kids, may as well look as serious as possible. You quietly take your weapons out, holding them in your grip. The ruby stones along the hilt and in the blade carefully glisten off the tiny bits of dim light. You hear the battle behind the curtain continue to take place, wood hitting wood, grunts, wheezes and scuffles of feet on the dirt.

With a smirk under your hood, you bring your arm up, swiping away the curtain and stepping inside the small circular room. You stomp your feet loud onto the ground as you step inside, trying your best to draw all the attention of the children inside. "Traitors!!!!" you say with the deepest, angriest voice you could muster.

Time must have stalled and all their hearts must have stopped beating as every single one of those kids went dead still, not breathing and just staring at you wide-eyed. They couldn't see your face, but they could see your armor, your sabre tooth mask draped over your head, the claws down your shoulders, the ruby red eyes of death glaring at them. Looking just like that fierce scary monster of their nightmares.

What happened next, was beyond hysterical for you.

"AHHHOHMYGODAHHHPLEASEPLEASEPLEASESORRYSORRYSORRY!!!" you heard words flying left and right in your direction. Kids were shuffling themselves backwards, their butts still on the ground as their legs were kicking their bodies away from you. It even appeared that some kids were actually clawing at the walls, wishing they could somehow burrow into them "SORRYPLEASEOHMYGOD!" many voices were cracking in fear. Little boys and girls started crying in complete terror "We didn't mean it! Please!!!" a few more let out. Some of the older looking kids were holding onto the younger ones, cradling their heads into their chests as if trying to shield their faces from you. Not only was every single kid now completely ghost white as you easily scared all of them half to death but you started to second guess your actions as you noticed one of the kids against the wall had a pool of his own urine forming below him.

"Please please please sir!" one of the older kids leans forward, his knees on the ground, he brings his head down, his arms forward, bowing to you "Please we're sorry please please!!! We are just having fun! We're playing, not serious! Please! Don't hurt us!" he continues to grovel for mercy as he speaks into the ground, afraid to lift his head up.

You maaaaaaaybe pushed it a little too far. Almost feeling a little bad, almost...

"Wait! Wait!!!" A voice from the edge of the room echos out.

As you glance over towards the direction the voice came from, you notice this figure is the only person still standing in the room. The only other person not covered in sweat, tears or urine. You smile under your hood as you point your sword out in their direction, pointing the tip of your blade straight towards them.

"I challenge you." you say to the still standing kid. "You win and you're free to leave." you pause, trying to be extra dramatic for the children "You lose..." you huff out as you swing your short sword in the direction of all the kids, causing many of them to cower back and let out whimpers of fear.

The kid just stands there, stone faced, looking at you.

"Well, what do you say...?"

What's next?
