Kitty coughed, shook her head, and finished reading, "We are all sinners, but your greatest sin is Wrath. Your desire to harm others shall be reflected back upon you. Standing in front of Kitty was a...woman? A devil? She had horns, wings and a tail, she wasn't human for sure.

"Spend it? On what?" Kitty asked.

The devil smirked, "Are you dumb? No, of course you are. You're only human. Allow me to explain. Money can be exchanged for goods and services. In the other room there are people who will provide you with goods and services in exchange for that money. Does it make sense now?"

Kitty put her hands on her hips, "I know that. I meant...whatever. It doesn't matter. I'll just find out on my own."

The devil stepped closer, "That's the spirit..." She was just inches away from Kitty now and her hand reached out to stroke Kitty's face, "You played the game well...just for you I'll offer an alternative prize."

Kitty found her heart beating faster and faster, just being near this...creature...was driving her wild.

The devil leaned in to whisper in Kitty's ear, "Forget the bag. Forget your friends. Walk away from it all and join me. As my pet. My ****. I can show you things you never ever dreamed of..."

She walked over and opened the door, "Theo? Ivy? Guys?!" The so called merchants were all of her friends. Except none of them reacted to her presence and...none of them seemed to be under the effects of the game.

"You may purchase any reward or punishment in Theo Addo's possession."

"So if I buy his punishments, they disappear?" Kitty asked.

"No. Then you posses them." The merchant explained.

"So I can't get rid of them..." She'd had a brief moment of hope that she could help her friends, but she wasn't so selfless that she'd just pile everything onto herself.

"You may. You may sell any punishment or boon to any merchant and the person they represent will acquire them. There is also a merchant representing yourself who can be paid to delete punishments. She can also sell rewards not given out during normal gameplay."

Kitty stepped back and looked down the hall. She hadn't noticed at first but yes, there was a clone of herself standing at the end.

This was going to get complicated. She only had so much money and she didn't need to ask for pricing to know that she couldn't delete everything. Who was going to suffer and how...it was all up to her.

"Do I have a time limit?" She asked the merchant.

"No. Time is frozen while you are in here."

"Ok, then tell me how much things cost..." Kitty was going to start by finding out more info.

It quickly became apparent that she couldn't free her fiends from all of their punishments. In fact Ivy alone would cost more than 7x what she had in her bag. Her best bet was to try and spread it around, moving punishments to people who would be bothered the least and cancelling only the very worst out there.

Kitty stared at her. She didn't know what to say. Based on her understanding of prices she didn't have enough to rid herself of all her punishments without this deal, even if she only focused on herself. But still...could she really abandon her friends?
