A little bit of power

Jaune was already getting sick of Cardin, and especially now that he realized he was more than just a bully

"Jaune Arc has immense strength and skill in combat as a means for impressing women" Was all he needed to take him down and hopefully score some time with the cute girl.

"Come on man. Leave her alone" Jaune said as he walked over. Cardin immediately spun to face him.

"Hm? Oh. It's you" he laughed "what's wrong? Didn't learn your lesson last time?"

"No. Apparently YOU didn't" Jaune thought to himself.

Cardin wound up for a punch

"I'll show you this time!"

As he punched, Jaune flowed around his fist, grabbing his arm and flipping him, sending him falling to the floor. Cardin immediately stood back up, fury in his eyes as he ran at Jaune... Who simply stepped aside. Cardin ran head first into the wall, knocking himself out.

"Damn... Looks like his aura was down. Good work, Yang." Jaune thought to himself "I know she didn't really MEAN for that effect, but I may have to reward her later."

Jaune let out a sigh, before approaching the girl.

"Hey... You okay?" He asked with genuine concern

"I'm fine..." She replied. Though her droopy ears told a different story.

Jaune just smiled at her and extended his hand.

"I'm Jaune Arc," he said, including his last name in hopes of prompting her own full name from her.
