"Really, what happened?" she asked, perking up with interest, ignoring that casual kick studiously.

"Well... He knocked my books out of my hands, and when I called him out, he caught me off guard, and stuffed me in an equipment locker, and sent it flying off," he said simply.

Velvet stared for a moment, before she shuddered as she tried to hold in laughter. "Hey come on, that's not funny!" Jaune protested.

"I'm sorry," Velvet said after a bit of laughing. "It's just... That's just so ludicrously over the top, it's hard not to laugh at the idea!"

"...okay, you have a point," Jaune admitted with a rueful chuckle. "So, what team are you on?"

"Team CVFY, pronounced Coffee," Velvet shrugged. "No need to tell me yours, I watched the first year ceremony."
