A little bit of Trickery

There was a new chief of police in town. But no one took her word because one of the inmates at the police headquarters had pulled quite the plan

Conley Shultz always had a bit of a harder edge than most girls. Born to a family known for people in the police **** she was almost guaranteed to rise to the rank of captain in only five year’s second only to her grandfather for fastest Unfortunately for Conley all the fame of gaining the rank brought some bad names to notice her.

One of them being serial copycat Alissa King. She was feared for having no set appearances. No one knew who she was going to be next. A politician, a Security Guard or a Scientist. She had a way of being other people but know she was planning her most ambitious copycat scheme yet. Being the chief of police and making the police blind to the criminal underworld.

And the plan worked beautifully for King at least. At night Alissa managed to break into the home of the new police chief; Conley. After silently getting into the bedroom she saw her victim sleeping blissfully. Using her patent impending Mimic suit all it took was a bit of hair to make King look like Shultz. After that she moved on to the second stage of the plan she tied a watch around the still sleeping victim and pressed a button on it.

In seconds there was no more Shultz sleeping on their bed there was King. After that she grabbed some black clothes and carefully put it on the now disguised Conley. After all was said and done King called the police to report a burglar and that she had knocked her out. Conley got a nasty surprise when five officer dragged her outside to be taken to jail and it was even more nasty when someone that was not her was watching the whole thing. But it didn’t help that she put one one heck of a fight. The watch may hide appearance but not strength.

Now the chief of police was a criminal mastermind in disguise and the actual chief was behind bars and to add further insult to injury King may have told the other inmates that she was not actually King but Conley. Shultz was about to have the career change of the century.
