A little b&e, as a treat

“W- what are you doing here, Gwen?" Arthur shook his head. How did she get in here? “I wanted to surprise you! ...I hope that that's okay?" She stammered. “I know I’m moving departments and I wouldn’t get to see you anymore at work and I thought I wouldn’t be able to convince you without being here in person... so I came by earlier to see if you were home." Her eyes flicked to his face. “You're not angry or anything, right?" What was I thinking? This was so stupid! I shouldn't have just broke in, and basically lived here over the weekend waiting for him. I should have just asked him out like a normal person! What the hell is wrong with me?!?

Internally she was panicking.

Arthur walked over to her and sat on the bed. “I- No I’m not angry, but why didn't you just call me? Or text me? Wait, convince me of what?” She lowered her head slightly, as though ashamed.

“It's a little embarrassing, Daddy..." She took a deep breath. Oh goddess, it just slipped out, I’ve been practicing this conversation for days!

“Daddy?!?”

“Please daddy? I want you to call me a good girl, and take care of me." She barreled ahead, shaking like a leaf and looked up at him pleadingly, her grey eyes shining and earnest. Her voice was barely above a whisper. The image of her kneeling before him, begging for his attention, was nearly enough to short circuit his brain.

“Please, daddy… I spent the whole weekend cleaning up for you, and I baked you cookies…”
