A little. He ran into the field of flowers and rolled around until he finally fell asleep.

Meanwhile, high above the planes of existence….

“Jericho! What the hell are you doing all the way over there at the edge of creation?” The cosmic angel, Melaris, called out to his fellow angel.

Jericho jumped and nearly fell off the edge of creation. “God’s hairy testicle! You scared the bejeezus out of me,” he said.

Melaris chuckled and cheerfully walked over. “You're awfully nervous for someone who just got promoted…” he said.

Jericho cringed. “Melaris, I-I need to tell you something.”

“My friend, you look ever so pale. What’s the matter?”

“I um…” Jericho said, “Dropped it.”

“Dropped it?” Melaris asked, still smiling.

“The Universal Seed…”

“Ah! What about it?”

“I dropped it.”

“Dropped it off at the cosmic vault?”

“No… I dropped it there,” Jericho said, jerking his thumb in the direction of the edge of creation.

Melaris glanced towards where Jericho was indicating. Still smiling jovially, he chuckled and said, “But that’s not where the cosmic vault is...”

“I know…” Jericho replied solemnly.

“So why did…” Melaris stopped in mid-sentence. His face suddenly contorted into a visage of abysmal horror. “No! No you didn’t…”

Jericho looked like he was gonna cry. “Y-Yes… I did,” he said meekly.

Melaris placed his hands on his friend’s shoulders. “How? How could that have happened?”

Jericho sobbed. “I dunno, I just… tripped.”

“You… Just… Tripped?”

“I’m sowwwwrhyyyy…”

“Jerry, we’re angels. We have wings. We do not… trip.”

“I just had mine waxed this morning and I didn’t want to ruin it,” Jericho whimpered and sobbed.

“Who else knows about this?!”

“No one,” Jericho replied. “ Just you and me… and that guy,” Jericho said, pointing behind Melaris.

Melaris turned to see another angel standing around. He was munching on an apple while watching the other two talk. The angel looked left and then looked right. Then he pointed to himself. “Me?” He asked.

-10 minutes later-

“Hurry up, grab his leg!” Melaris hissed.

“Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God…” Jericho sobbed.

The two cosmic angels dragged the limp body of the apple-munching angel to the edge of creation and tossed him over.

“Uhuuuhuuuuhuuuuu… what have we done?!” Jericho bawled.

Melaris grabbed Jericho’s shoulders and shook him. “Listen to me!” He snarled, “No one can ever know about this!”

“T-that we k-killed Steven?” Jericho asked.

“Huh? No,” said Melaris, “That you lost the Universal Seed. Who the fuck is Steven?”

“T-the guy we just tossed over into creation.”

“Oh…” said Melaris, “Yeah, that too.”

“B-but what d-do I tell the keeper of the v-vault? H-he is expecting me to d-deliver the s-seed…” Jericho said while weeping.

“Here, give him this,” Melaris said. He released Jericho’s shoulders and produced an irregularly shaped dark lump of rock.

“W-what’s this?” Jericho asked.

Melaris cautiously glanced around to make sure the coast is clear before replying, “It’s God’s shit.”

“W-wha?”

“It’s God’s shit. His exalted excrement. His divine dung. It’s quite literally - Holy Shit.”

“Wha? W-why do you have…”

“We don’t have time Jerry! Listen! No one knows what the Universal Seed actually is. Not many people even know what it looks like. All people know is that it contains immense power. So here’s what’s gonna happen. You’re gonna take the holy shit to the vault. You’re gonna hand it over to the vault keeper and complete your delivery task. The vault keeper’s gonna measure the power output of the holy shit and it will be off the charts. It may only be a cosmically minuscule amount of power compared to the Universal Seed, but nobody’s gonna know that. They don’t even have proper equipment to measure the full power of this lump of the Creator’s constipation cherry. How would they know the difference?”

“Ummmm o-okay,” Jericho said, taking the holy shit from Melaris. “T-thanks Melaris. Y-you’re always so good to me.”

Melaris drew close. He cupped Jericho’s cheeks and looked deeply into his eyes. “I’ll do anything for you Jerry,” he whispered. “Anything…” Melaris closed his eyes and started to lower his lips onto Jericho’s.

“Ummm, Melaris? I-I’m n-not gay…” Jericho said.

Melaris opened his eyes. “Oh,” he said.

-10 minutes later-

“God dammit Jerry, you’ve gained so much fucking weight,” Melaris groaned as he pushed his friend’s limp body over the edge of creation.

Panting hard, Melaris sat on the ground and stared out into the cosmic abyss. He pulled out the holy shit he had retrieved from Jericho earlier from under his angelic robes.

“God, I need a hit,” Melaris said as he started grinding part of the holy shit into powder on the stone floor.
