What do they find at the end of their path?
A lewd hieroglyphic wall
It only took a few minutes of walking before the right passage opened out into a chamber. It was poorly lit and Emmaline's glowing flame was essential in illuminating the small square-ish space.
The passage seemed to continue on the opposite side, but that doorway was blocked by a complex interwoven web of thick, deep purple branches. These tendrils meshed together to form a bulkhead that blocked the passageway, and beyond them, the corridor seemed to lead even further down. A passageway, though, there clearly was.
"Look at this!" hissed Skye as she peered at a wall, "Hieroglyphics!"
As Emmaline moved to join her, she spotted a number of torches along the wall, and quickly brushed her flaming hand over them, illuminating the space much more evenly.
With the room illuminated, the three could finally observe their surroundings, starting with the wall near where Skye had gestured.
The wall art depicted a human woman being spit-roasted by two horned, muscled, humanoids. The figure was on her hands and knees and the precisely drawn image clearly depicted two erect male creatures impaling her body from either side.
The fire blessed acrobat moved her hand around to illuminate the wall painting more closely. The next image she revealed showed a human woman held by her knees as she was lowered onto the thick cock of another two-horned man. The male figure was at least a third larger than her. Next to that scene, the artist had depicted a woman riding reverse cowboy on a humanoid, no horns this time, her body thrust onto a cock from below while a strange creature clung to her face like a fleshy mask.
"What the hell..." murmured Liv. The sniper turned her attention to another part of the strange cave painting and discovered a scene in which two women lay between the legs of two more horned male-creatures, faces gobbling down impressively large cocks, with art rendered down to the colors of their eyes, and slight, seductive upward curve of their lips. "What?" she murmured in amazement.
It was Skye who spoke next, "Look at this..." she had tucked down to the bottom of the mural and held up a brick for the other two Bravos to see. On each side of the brick there was a painting; a man, a monster, a woman or thing.
"Hmm, I'll bet it goes over here, somehow" Emmaline said, gesturing to a series of three open, square orifices carved into the wall on the opposite side of the door. Each one had the space of a handprint next two it, painted in crimson, then onyx, then azure.
Emmaline reached out and touched the handprint. At first, nothing happened, then the web of tendrils started to rustle, shaking and quivering before they fell silent once more.
