A large slime creature

It was hard to discern the actual shape of the being before her, as it seemed to be constantly shifting and changing. What she could tell was that it was made of an odd, slimy substance, of a sickly green color. It also had several large tentacles emerging from its, large blob-like body, which were slithering around, interested in the new prey.

Robin had no idea how it knew she was there, as it had no apparent visual or hearing organs, but it seemed to know just where she was nonetheless. Robin barely took stock of it, though, the water still overwhelming the young duelist with sensations, and her danger instincts didn't kick in because of this.

Some parts of her brain tried to warn her of the danger she was in from the creature before her, which was slowly moving towards her, but they were overwhelmed by her desire to remain in the water, enjoying the feelings it gave her. As such, Robin did nothing as the slime creature drew nearer, its tentacles starting to slither in her direction.

She did, however, react when one brushed against her legs, shrieking as her instincts finally kicked in and she backed away, the feeling from the water and it's clouding of her mind momentarily vanishing. She quickly drew her rapier and tried to slash at one of the tentacles, cutting the end of it, which splashed onto the floor.

Robin's celebration was short-lived as she soon noticed the tentacle had fully regrown. Despite the cloudiness of her mind, she was able to reason it had some sort of healing abilities, and wonder if her fire magic could in any way stop said healing. It was somewhat limited in its strength, and more flashy than anything, but it was worth a try so long as she could actually cast magic, which would be hard with a clouded mind.

She called on her energies, which she found woefully and worryingly depleted despite the fact she hadn't used much magic. She channeled it through her rapier, and quickly sliced another incoming tentacle. Much to her relief, this time the tentacle didn't heal. However, keeping her magic up long enough to defeat the beast would be hard, especially considering that she could already feel the water start to cloud her mind again, and in her new awareness, she noticed the only way out of the pool was currently being blocked by the slime beast. She would need all her wits about her for this battle, and she was very worried about what might happen to her if she failed.
