Something in the distance?
A knight?
Garris, picking himself up, barely makes out a glimmer of light peering through the brush. Squinting, Garris realizes the light is coming from a shining set of armor riding atop a horse. Before he has any time to react the knight is upon him, the man reaches down from his racing horse and yanks Garris’s shoulder, throwing him to the ground yet again. Garris attempts to regain his posture but is quickly thrown down by the knight again in another charge. This time, Garris lands on a broken rib and cries out. The knight takes this as him surrendering, and leaps of his horse, right in front of the collapsed Garris.
Garris looks up to see a beak-like metal mask adjourning the knights concealed face, complemented by soulless eye holes. The knight wears a light breastplate with broken chainmail beneath it, with several leather straps holding various utilities. As for a weapon, Garris sees none, but nonetheless, he has no choice but to answer when the man asks:
