A kitchen full of dirty dishes

While there was a large staircase leading up to the upper levels in the middle of the entry hall, Jesebel made the decision to explore the first floor first. Looking to the left, she simply chose the doorway closest to the mansion's entrance and decided to begin her exploration there.

What greeted Jesebel was a large kitchen, many dishes piled up near the sink, a pile of dirty dishes on one side and a larger pile of clean dishes on the other. Recalling this was the direction the animated maid uniforms had come from, Jesebel realized that she had interrupted their work.

As she recalled that, Jesebel felt her uniform move on its own and her mind go blank. Habitually, as if she had done this numerous times, she walked over to the sink and began cleaning and drying the dirty dishes. This continued for half an hour, until finally all of the dishes were clean.

That was when Jesebel was freed from the spell that had taken hold of her and she started shouting. "Demmerain! What have you done to me!"

The vampire seemingly heard the complaint from whatever part of the mansion she was in and laughed. "Me? I did nothing. You simply inherited the job of the maid uniform you wore, and are too weak-willed to resist~ Go on, continue to explore, I'm curious to see what else you clean~"

Seething with anger, Jesebel left the kitchen (having spent enough time in it to know there was nothing of import) and considered which way she should go now.
