A journey through her memory

What Lauren didn't realize was she was in a nightmare. Not just any nightmare though, she was on a journey through all her most humiliating memories! She was reliving her worst experiences, not at the age she was then but in her own adult body. Everyone was still reacting the same, including her, but her adult brain and body could fully comprehend the humiliation in a new way.

So, she'd just relived one of her earliest memories, wetting herself at the school play when she was five. And this memory faded out to the next experience, not that much farther in the future...
