Chapter 3 by PhantomRiver PhantomRiver

What is the News?

A hero has challenged Luroon

"Somehow a mortal has made her way to Hell. Alive, that is. She reached the gates to the palace, even. She's outside right now, yelling something about bringing you to justice."

Luroon sat back in her throne, her spade-tipped tail curled around into her lap. She was quite familiar with these so-called "heroes." Arrogant mortals who thought that they could win fame and riches by slaying a powerful demon. As it was, heroes were some of the most enjoyable mortals to break, owing to their prideful spirits. The fact that they were usually charismatic and attractive to win popularity with the masses didn't hurt either. But this one already sounded a bit different from the rank-and-file champions of justice she had faced before.

"How interesting... You say she arrived in Hell through unknown means? She wasn't brought here by one of my minions, then." Her minions regularly brought in mortal fuckpets to satisfy her constant sadistic urges - or at least, they tried to satisfy her. Lately the scouts had been slacking. That was the most common way for a hero to enter Hell, disguising themselves as a tempting target and getting kidnapped. Other methods of entry existed, but were much more difficult.

"Just as you say, my Mistress. None of our scouts brought her. If they had, she would already be inside the palace. I presume that you wish to deal with her yourself?"

Luroon nodded and stood. She strode quickly out of the throne room and down the grand hallway in front of it. She almost considered slowing her pace just to keep up appearances - an archdemon getting excited over a mortal could be seen as childish by some. But then, she had never been good at suppressing her desires for the sake of appearances. She sped up instead. She'd throatfuck anyone who spread rumors about her until they couldn't speak, anyway.

She bypassed the curved staircase leading to the ground floor entirely, simply hopping over the railing. Falling a few dozen feet was nothing to her; She hit the floor gracefully and resumed her brisk pace, waving her hand to make the enormous entryway open for her.

Sure enough, outside the gates that separated the palace grounds from the rest of her territory stood a mortal woman, shouting angrily while brandishing a greatsword. She was no ordinary looking woman, either. Unbelievably, she was taller than Luroon, probably a full head and shoulders taller. That was impressive, given that most mortals didn't get taller than chest-height for Luroon herself.

The woman's height wasn't all that was remarkable. Her build was a match for Luroon's as well - heavily muscled, yet sporting broad hips and hefty breasts. Luroon was chagrined to discover that the woman's biceps and shoulders outmatched her own, although Luroon still had her beat in the thigh department. Luroon had the distinct impression that she had seen women like this before, but for the life of her she couldn't think where or when.

The woman tossed her curly brown hair back when she saw Luroon approaching. Her olive skin was barely covered by crude leather armor, and it glistened with sweat - mortals wouldn't be used the intensely hot and dry climate of Hell. She rattled the barred gate, teeth bared.

"You! I've travelled the entire world twice over to find a way to get to you. Let me in, and face the unbridled wrath of the Amazons!"

Amazons, that was where Luroon had seen her kind before! She was slowly starting to recall the experience. She sneered at the woman, hands on her hips.

"Ah, you're here to avenge your kidnapped sisters, are you? I had nearly forgotten about that raid on an Amazonian village all those years ago. Did you live there? If so, I'll have to punish my minions for letting someone escape." She chuckled as the Amazon paced back and forth in front of the gate, not unlike a jungle cat who had been caged.

"So you traveled the whole mortal realm to find your way here? It would be quite a shame to come all this way, only to be foiled by a simple iron gate. Why don't you show me what you can do? If you can't even reach me on your own, you're not worthy to fight me."

The enormous woman snarled like a beast. After taking a few steps back to inspect the gate, she burst into action. She ran forward and leapt into the air, kicking off against one of the stone columns the gate was attached to to gain even more height. She was just able to grab the top and vault over, landing on the other side a bit more clumsily than Luroon would have. Still, it was a damn impressive feat for a mortal. Luroon nodded with appreciation.

"Well done. If you wish to face me, you're free to. Oh, but before we start, there's a little something you might find interesting..." Luroon leaned forward, a cruel grin creeping across her face. "Your dear sisters... I still have them. They're alive. Do you want to see them? I'll allow a visit before our battle, if you want"

The Amazon was taken aback. She furrowed her brow, deep in thought.

Does she agree?
