A free day

On Saturday, you and Mazzy receive messages from the AWIO. Apparently, they’re satisfied with what they’ve seen from you, and will no longer be doing weekly home visits. It feels like a big step, although not unexpected, what with everything else going on. Still, it frees up some time, for sure.

Not that you’re doing much with the time today. You spend most of the morning just relaxing with Mazzy and Ellie. Sadly, Dakota has to work today, so she wouldn’t be back until later. You can’t complain about cuddling with the two adorable little women, regardless.

Then, you have an idea. “Hey, we put this off before, but do you think it would be a good idea to pay my parents a visit? I really should introduce you two at some point.”

Mazzy smiles. “I already agreed, but I’d say it’s up to Ellie.”

The little goblin thinks for a moment, and then nods. “I-if you think it’s a good idea, Brian…”

You smile, and pat Ellie’s head, causing her to blush and snuggle closer. “I’m sure they’ll love you both.”

You pull out your phone and send a message to your parents. Hey, are you two free today? There’s someone I’d like you to meet.

Almost immediately you get an answer from your mother. Well hey there stranger! Of course we’re free. Someone new, hmm? Come on over, I’ll whip up some lunch!

You chuckle at her response, and tell the girls to get ready. Both of them seem excited, though Ellie seems nervous as well, which you expected. Not Mazzy, of course. The bouncy halfling is all giggles as she runs off to change. You follow them, figuring that you might as well look presentable too.

If you had to guess, you would expect this to go fairly well. Your parents have been quite concerned about you since Kelly left, and you know they’re excited to see whoever you ended up dating next. The fact that it’s a monster girl is unlikely to bother them either, both of them are quite open minded. The only concern is that there’s TWO monster girls, not to mention Dakota. However, you’re certain that no one can meet Mazzy and Ellie and not adore them.

While you think about that stuff, the three of you get dressed. Mazzy wears the same outfit you first met her in, while Ellie wears a simple knee length dress. Both girls look beautiful, and you can’t help but feel incredibly lucky to have them in your life. You kiss both of them, leaving them both smiling, before taking them out to your car.
