A few days pass

Your eyes slowly flutter open as the rays of the morning sun pass through the window, hitting your face. Your body feels heavy, yet it doesn't hurt anymore. A few minutes pass as you lay on your moss bed, enjoying the chirping from the birds outside.

Finally you sit up and let your legs hang from the side of the bed before touching the cold wooden floor with your feet. You suddenly notice a small layer of dust covering your whole body. "Damn, how long was I out?..." You ask yourself as you start to wipe it off.

Your tummy gives a small rumble and you try to remember when you last ate anything, but you draw a blank. You stand up and dust yourself off the rest of the way, before actually noticing the small bump, where your abs were before. "What the hell!" You yell in shock, but quickly throw your hands over your mouth to shut yourself up. "Those bastards might be looking for me... For all I know they are right outside, so shut the fuck up Emma! Secure the area first, then figure out WHY THE FUCK YOUR BELLY IS LIKE THIS!" You try to reason with yourself inside your mind before uncovering your mouth.

While holding one hand on your belly, you walk slowly out of the shack, looking around carefully. You spot a few birds flying around and a hare running scared into the underbrush, but nothing else. You sigh in relief and walk all the way out, enjoying the sun on your body.

"Let's see if this works now..." You say as you look at your belly. "Inspect", you say as a small box with text pops into your vision, pointing towards your belly.

"WHAT THE FUCK! I'M PREGNANT!" You yell loudly as you grip your head in non-belief.

A few minutes goes silently by as you stand in shock, holding your head and looking at your pregnant belly. Finally your arms drop to your sides. "I am... pregnant..." you say to yourself, barely getting the last word out. "But... how?... I mean... I know how, but, how does that even work in this world." You mind fills with one question after another as you start to walk around in circles, while gently rubbing your belly with one hand.

This goes on for quite some time, with one question after the other being voiced to noone but yourself.

Finally you stop your pacing and take a long, deep breath and exhale. "I guess I will just have to accept this for now." You say, trying to convince yourself. "For now, I need to get further away from those bastards and maybe find someone to help me with this... situation." You gently rub your belly yet again.

"7 days, that's... crazy. Normally a pregnancy should be at least 9 months... I guess that's just one of the perks in this world." You can't help but chuckle a little at this. "Fine, it's just you and me now little man, I'll try to take care of you, but please, for the love of... whoever grants power in this crazy place, please be gentle with me when you come out." You beg as you gently rub your belly.
