A few changes

Claire shifted uncomfortably. Her breasts felt swollen. It was an odd thing, no particular timing in her cycle. But none of the bra she had quite fit her that morning. She had always been flat chested, so this development was not too inconvenient.

Seated across from her, her fellow Sales team member Max seemed very focused on his work. A scrawny man straight out of college, Max was a perenially underwhelming member of the team, always doing the bare minimum to avoid being fired. Today, though, the only sound Claire could hear was the rhythmic tapping of his fingers on the keyboard. From his bag a book was protruding.

"Flowers of the Isonzo?" She read out loud. Max blinked, awakened from his work trance.

"Oh, that. I thought I could get some reading done today. But I was too taken by work."

Claire suppressed a snicker. For once, Max really was working. "What's the book about?"

"Oh, I think it's a romance novel. Zoe, the boss' assistant was reading it a while ago."

Claire felt like replying snarkily to him, about his reading choice, or his usual procrastination. However, her colleague was working hard, and she thought the book did indeed look neat.

"I hope you get some time for it today, it does look interesting!"

It infuriated Miguel to see that the parts were late, again. The boys on his construction crew would not be pleased.

Instead of shouting at the contractor, Miguel felt an unusual wave of calm. "Listen, man, I know that the supply chain is fucked. What can we do to get this unstuck?" He asked into his phone.

"Oh. Uh, I think I know two smaller shops in town. They can't fill the entire order you need, but they can certainly get you unstuck."

"Place the order there. I want the first shipments tomorrow morning. " he paused. An odd urge to be polite. "Thank you, man, you are a life saver."

The contractor gave a few more excuses, then hung up.

The boys were busy idling when Miguel found them. A mixture of the young and old, his crew was similar to most construction crews he had ever worked with. They certainly never missed an opportunity not to work. Today, however, the men were not sitting around discussing sports, but hunched over books.

"What the hell are you idiots doing?"

"We, uh, ran out of electrical wire, boss. We got bored so we got some old books from the secondhand store next door."

Miguel felt the urge to chew them out. However, his unusual wave of patience and compassion made him sit down next to them.

"Did you at least get one for me? The delivery is late today too."

Andrew always ended his days of work in the legal team with an appointment to the office gym. The forty five years old lawyer gave his body a look over in the dressing room. He was still in the peak of his physique. He knew his husband always went nuts over his body.

Today, however, he gave himself a re-evaluation. He had always loved running, and built his body into a lithe form. Looking at his rear in the mirror, he found it a little rounder than expected. He did not hate it, surprisingly. Perhaps more musculation for his lower body might do him good? Getting a more developed ass.

Outside the changing room he ran into Zoe heading to the gym, just as he headed out.

"Hey Andrew."

"Zoe. Ready for your vacations?" The young woman nodded. Andrew examined her body for a few seconds. Women did nothing for him. Nevertheless, he could appreciate the young secretary's butt, clad in tight gym clothes.

"Good, good. We'll keep the office running while you are gone."
