A drone

Surprisingly there isn't much packaging and in just a moment the small quad copter drone is sitting on your desk.

Alex: "cool drone, this isn't just a present for me because you know I'd find drones neat is it?"

Cerve: "no silly, but feel free to play with it when I'm done using it. I need it to map out your house. I'm going to be making some upgrades and the floor plan on file with the city isn't detailed enough"

You think you should be worried about whether you should let the ai making interior design decisions for you but looking around your basement that had a singular piece of furniture, your IKEA desk and office chair in the large space and knowing the rest of your home was no better in terms of "Feng shui" you think maybe the powerful ai that knows all your preferences deserves to take a crack at it. You can always ask her to undo the changes if you don't like them.

Alex: "What do I need to do?"

Cerve: "just make sure all the interior doors are open and let me do the rest"

You go through the house doing as she says while the drone flies around methodically scanning every inch of the space.
