A day in Grace's life.

The next day I awoke from my slumber feeling refreshed. The memories of the previous day replayed in my mind. The **** of my old life and my 'rebirth' as a parasitic worm, capable of possessing others, including my new vessel, Grace, the most popular Knight in the village.

Using her memories, I decide to indulge myself in living her life, at least for today. I got out of bed, washed my new body, perhaps a little too diligently and then adorn the knight armor she usually wore to go on patrol. I was initially skeptical at first about wearing it. I had never worn anything like armor before. It was bigger and bulkier than my usual type of clothes. Yet slipping it on....it felt so right on this body.

Perhaps it was the subconscious traits I took from her that made the armor feel so familiar to me. It didn't even feel that cumbersome, feeling like a second skin almost despite its weight. I curled my lips into a smile as I picked up my new sword and stepped out of my home. This was going to be a brand new day.

Upon entering the village, I was greeted with warm smiles as many of the villagers saw me walking by. I smiled back to them, greeting them from memory, waving to the little kids. It was such a relieve to not be hated, yet at the same time, it only made me despise them all the more. These same people had wanted to exile me.

No matter I told myself. I was in control now. I reported to my station and awaited orders for my next move, contemplating what else I could do with this body and the grimoire. I could continue to be Grace, or I could jump ship, maybe possess someone else and move forward. Or perhaps I could study the Grimoire even more and find other spells to use.

Perhaps maybe try the shapeshifting spell or even the mind control one, those seemed just as good as this possession one. I wonder....
