Chapter 18 by AuNaturale AuNaturale

What do our hero and his alien companion do next?

A date on top of the world.

The floor of the Tower's main platform was a little chilly on his bare butt, so once the euphoria of the strange situation passed, Pascal got to his feet and pulled up his pants.

It then became apparent that his lower garments were not the same clothes he'd worn at the start of this dream scenario the previous night. He wasn't actually wearing underwear, for starters, and his pants weren't normal jeans or pajama pants, but rather some comfy sweatpants-like material with extra padding on the thighs and a buttoned flap on his crotch that gave his cock and balls plenty of room to flop out at will. In essence, sweatpants that could become crotchless chaps at any time.

The sub-dermal ring around his left wrist gave him a gentle buzz, and he raised it to look at a holographic message from his Halo communicator. It was from Scarlet, naturally. [You forgot your pants and underwear at the mayoral estate. Not that I blame you, but it seems you feel more comfortable with your ass covered - in more ways than one! So you've got a new pair from an enchantress/tailor here in Nestledeep. Not only will they keep you comfortable in all elements and climates, but the women who titfuck you will find your lap nice and comfy, and if you lose them again, they'll find a way to teleport near you automatically! Enjoy!]

Liara, still topless and watching him with the sweetest expression, was finally momentarily distracted by Pascal checking his wrist. "Oh, is that a Halo communicator? I've never seen one before! That allows you to interact with both technological and magical messaging systems, correct? Ah, do you mind if I add you on Gal-Call?" She raised her left arm and the orange holographic glow of the omni-tool gauntlet appeared around her forearm and hand.

A few taps later, Pascal's Halo pinged with an incoming contact request from Liara, which he naturally accepted immediately. "Sooo..." He had so many questions, and he realized mid-way through asking that he hadn't even fully covered up his penis, which he did by buttoning the crotch flap up. "Ahem. So... omni-tools are a real thing, then. Does that mean biotics, too...?"

Liara nodded with a smile and, after dismissing her omni-tool, raised her other hand. Her whole body glowed with a faint sheen of blue energy, and a glowing blue-and-purple localized gravity distortion manifested above her palm. Pascal watched with wide-eyed fascination for a few seconds before Liara stopped. "Indeed, biotics are real, though... just for us asari, unfortunately. It's not something most people can learn, like in the Mass Effect games." She looked at him again and noticed that he still couldn't look away from her exposed breasts, which made her smile bashfully. "I take it you... added me to your harem when you played...?"

That took Pascal aback, somewhat. "H-Harem?? N-No, it was just... We couldn't make a harem, you had to stick to one romance interest..."

"Oh!" Liara raised a hand to her lips in surprise. "I suppose there really are differences between our Mass Effect and your Mass Effect, then. That's... Well, that's to be expected, as Scarlet said, but still. There must be countless changes big and small between our universes, and yet..."

Pascal chuckled and rubbed the back of his head, glancing around at all the aliens and fantasy women coming and going. It was hard to ignore that they were still in a densely packed public thoroughfare, not unlike a train station. "Well... she also said we've got plenty of time to hash out all the details, and I'm definitely interested in sticking with you, Liara."

"Of course, Shepar- er, I mean Pascal!" Liara stammered, before clearing her throat. "Sorry, that might... slip out from time to time." She looked genuinely embarrassed at accidentally calling him the main character's surname from the games. Wanting to change the subject quickly, she said, "Would you like to ascend the Tower and explore for a bit? How high would you like to go?"

Looking up wasn't much help when they were right under it. It was a space elevator-like structure that went higher than the clouds. Though the center of the Tower as far as he could see from here was a big platform where countless busty women were either tractor-beamed up into the air or floated down back to the ground. Whenever someone entered or landed in the radius of the transporter platform, a glowing line on the floor seemed to appear and guide them where to stand for their own beam or how to leave without bumping into anyone else. It felt like some marvelously complex AI had to be handling things, since at any point dozens of women were sucked up into the air or dropping down from above at high speed.

It didn't help that Pascal had a mild fear of heights. He knew - well, was pretty confident that nothing in this universe would allow him to fall from a great height and allow him to come to harm, but his body still raised an objection.

And yet, then again... the explorer in him wanted to see the planet and the stars.

"Can we... go just high enough that we can see the curve of the planet and the stars?" he asked bashfully.

Liara smiled brightly and nodded. She pulled together the top of her jumpsuit and clasped it over her breasts, hiding them from view and binding them down slightly to prepare for the journey. It still left no question as to the size and shape of her bust, though, covering up half her torso and spilling out to the sides. "Absolutely, Pascal. Have you never traveled out to space before in your universe?"

Pascal had to chuckle at how unbelievable this conversation had become all of a sudden. "No, ah... commercial space and FTL travel is the stuff of science fiction in my universe."

"Then I'd love to be the first one to accompany humanity into the stars," Liara replied, her blue eyes almost shining with pure joy and love as she looked at him. She stepped forward and extended her hand to him. She was a little taller than his youthened form, not by much, but enough that Pascal had to look up slightly to meet her eyes. "And if it helps... enjoying the company of a breast-loving male is the stuff of science fiction in this universe, so perhaps it balances out, how we're both going to be living a dream today."

She said it so sincerely, Pascal was once again shocked. Saying stuff like that, about him, beaming affection to him at every moment... On some level, he remembered that this was an artificial scenario cooked up by a magical book, but on the other hand, it felt so real that he couldn't help but get sucked into it, treat it as an incredible reality. And when he shakingly took her hand, his human fingers cupping her asari palm as she gripped him firmly, it just made things all the more real.

Holding hands, Liara and Pascal walked towards the transport platform. Like with all the others Pascal had observed, as they reached the boundary of the transport beams, a glowing line on the floor appeared to guide them where to stand. It went all the way into the center, weaving around other women walking in or beaming down just in time for them to avoid. Some women even beamed down behind them where they'd been walking moments ago - for how much traffic there was, it was all incredibly precise.

They reached the marked circle on the floor where they needed to stand. Barely moments after they got into position, a beam of white light enveloped them both at once, and Pascal started to feel gravity lose its grip on him as he floated into the air. His heart raced at the sudden, unexpected weightlessness.

"Don't worry," Liara reassured him, floating alongside him with their hands still held. "It knows exactly where we want to go, and it will suppress the momentum. Just trust it and it will hold you tight."

That was all the warning Pascal got before they shot up into the air. Countless floors of the space elevator whipped past Pascal's vision as they ascended rapidly. Other women in the beams alongside theirs shot by up and down near his at various speeds, making for a cacophony of speed noises whipping past his ears. Strangely, though, he didn't feel any wind battering his face, nor did he feel the momentum squeezing or pulling on him like he was on a speeding elevator - it was like a bubble had formed around them, and it was the rest of the universe moving around them at mach speed.

Before Pascal could even take in all the sensations of being transported high into the sky at rapid speed, it came to a sudden stop. Again, thankfully without his stomach colliding into his brain - the world just put on the brakes around him. The two of them were floating between several different landing pads, and after a moment's wait while other passengers whipped by them, they were gradually floated towards one of the 'docks' in a bubble of light before being lowered onto the metal platform. Pascal could see other women waiting on the platform for their turn, being encased in a bubble of light and floated out into the beams before shooting up or back down.

"Are you okay?" Liara asked him, patting his back. Pascal nodded, but couldn't really speak. She understood and guided him forward. "Come on, this way. This level is an observation deck, and I think you'll love the view."

The concourse they entered was a blue-and-purple metal hallway, decorated with neon lines criss-crossing around the floors and walls, plus the occasional animated screen advertising something with a busty announcer and the occasional plants. It felt equal parts 'space station' and 'airport wing.' Pascal noticed that there was a sign written in various languages, most of them alien but one of them English: Floor 600. Geez!

Pascal wondered if the air should be thinner or gravity lighter at such a high altitude, but a quick breath and a hop proved otherwise. It didn't make any sense, but life support and artificial gravity seemed to be keeping things normal.

He'd been staring at the floor mostly to recover his bearings after the transport beam, but then he looked up. Just ahead was a great window of reinforced glass - or maybe something sturdier, but otherwise transparent to let him look outside the outer walls. The sight made him gasp in awe, and Liara next to him let out a happy sigh as she let her human guest take it in.

It was like standing high above a great blue marble, looking out over the glowing curve of the planet and seeing the stars watching over it. He couldn't even see Nestledeep from here - they were high above the cloud layer, and the lower floors of the Tower alone got in the way of seeing anything directly beneath the space elevator. He could vaguely make out other continents, though, and couldn't help but wonder at all the kinds of busty fantasy races that inhabited those lands. Then he looked up at the glowing points of the stars above and wonder how many of those were planets with millions of busty alien babes. As he was looking up, a starship suddenly accelerated into the vicinity and came to a sudden crawl as it left FTL speeds, drifting towards what was no doubt a vast and busy starport and station at the very top of the Tower.

Pascal's legs gave out slightly, kneeling down as he pressed his hands and forehead against the glass, captivated as he stared out into infinity. The end of the horizon and what lay beyond.

Liara knelt down beside him, her breasts nearly bumping against the glass beside him as she put a hand on his back and gently rubbed between his shoulder blades. "I'm barely over 100 - young by asari standards - but I still remember my mother Benezia bringing me on a diplomatic trip when I was half your age. It was my first time ascending above the clouds of Thessia. Even for us, who have been spacefaring longer than many species have been sapient, that first moment leaving the planet's embrace and seeing the stars..." She trailed off, allowing for a quiet moment of reflection between them.

All Pascal could think for a while was, Here I am, indulging in a ridiculous sexual fantasy, but I also get to kinda go to space. ...I am the luckiest son of a bitch in the world.

Once the shock of being in space wears off, what then?
